Kenmore Elite Front-Loading Washer Loud on Spin Cycle

Kenmore Elite front loading washer knocked on spin cycle and got progressively worse. I thought it was just needing the main bearing replaced. But then I decided the issues were more extensive and decided purchase a new machine. After performing a post mortem I confirmed I had made the right decision.

Having exact same symptoms. Thank you for the video!! Melted plastic. Worn plastic. Now i dont need to take it appart to know whats wrong.spin cycle sounds like its gonna explode

Wow, I have the same model. Bought it over 18 years ago. No repair issues. I noticed that plastic in my clothes. Did not know where it was coming from. Washed a load today and it sounded like it was going to blow up. It quit spinning. I got over 18 years. Off to buy a Speed Queen now. Thanks for the video. Just hate that a quality replacement is 2100.00.
