I'm really glad the wedding officiant gets to be included. Love that guy! Also got a good laugh from the flawless argument you presented to justify the sweater. Catherine O'Hara.
Great job. It's really encouraging to know that there are ways to cope with "burn out" in pursuing a hobby. It might not be rocket science, but it's still learned behavior. Thanks for reminding us of the importance of flexibility.
the guy having some very ill-fitting pants with awfully hemmed pantlegs is just so funny 😂 maybe he sneaked them out of beetlejuice's closet and tried to fit them to himself haha

Thank you Christine! I think you are right. I would not have had the skills to build the Addams house from scratch and I think it would have defeated me. But I am glad to try this now with everything I have learned and pass along anything that will help others too! I am enjoying the journey!
Omg the light is amazing!! It highlights that incredible brickwork you made perfectly! I don’t think I’d be able to tell the difference between the movie fireplace and the one you created. It’s stunning! And the officiant is so cute! All these little details really makes the project come alive!
I love, love, love the fireplace! It’s so perfect and a great way to shake that burn ou😵💫 I will have to remember this lesson. Can’t wait to see the next piece you work on.
And the answer is Empty tuna fish Cans! Over 30 years ago one of my kids decorated some empty cleaned tuna fish cans in school art class and gave them to me for Father's Day as I recall. I displayed them on my work table. I discovered that if I put cups of paint or any other open liquid containers like paint, glue, and such into the empty tuna can they become all but impossible to spill. . .
Hi Ara! This is always so much fun, inspirational, and always always learning something new! This project is really coming along..what a great effect those green lights have! Love those proud moments of accomplishments! 💕

Omigosh! I’m so glad you also recognize the importance of spilling most of the paint mixture as an integral part of the procedure. Not that I ever do such a thing. Than you! 💕
I very recently found your channel, and I'm loving watching you create your miniatures. You're very talented. I can also help you out with the warping of your card stock, paper and foam board... Buy the cheapest aerosol hairspray you can find. Give 3 or 4 very light coats to whichever side you're going to paint. Each coat will dry in minutes, so it doesn't take long to do. Once that's complete, then add a thin layer or two of spray on matte varnish. This completely seals the paper and prevents warping during the painting steps.
Thank you for your kind words and for your suggestion! Does the hairspray not cause any problems with the adhesion of the paint later on? I am always willing to try something new to avoid warp!
@@BentleyHouseMinis No, the hairspray has no effect on adhesion. Just be sure to give a light coat or two of matte spray-on varnish after the hairspray. I've been doing this for years, and it works well. I don't know why, but the cheap hairspray works better than the expensive stuff. Just be sure to be light-handed in your coats. If you spray too heavy, you'll get warping. It also works well as an after coat to seal paints, chalks or other media that may move or smudge later on.
