Emissions regulations have resulted in adjustment screws being replaced with fixed jets which disable maintenance. (After replacement) How do we setup a new carb (with adjusters)?
That's the reason why I didn't show how to adjust or tune the carburetor and to keep the original setting as mush as possible. Over the years, the only thing that would deteriorate or change are the orings, gaskets and diaphragms including the metering lever height. Unlikely for the metering spring and the rest of the parts. Once you replaced the gaskets and diaphragms and reset the lever other than cleaning, the carburetor will perform like new with no mixture adjustment provided no one had previously tampered the adjustment. I didn't pay attention what type of adjustment tool needed for the mixture screw. It is located on the top middle of the rotary throttle. Thanks for watching our videos. Cheers, VARIETECH

If you leave nearby, I will do it for you for FREE including supplied of primer bulb. Only this time I need the actual unit to feature on UA-cam including changing of fuel line system, and installing the carburetor. On this video I di a full carburetor rebuild, the owner of the unit is on other state so he sent only the carburetor for rebuild. Thanks for watching our video. VARIETECH
@42cuba most of the under acceleration problem is the carburetor and by changing diaphragms and gaskets will fix the problem. As long as you rebuild the carburetor properly (no shortcut), you can get away of not using a leak detector tester to test your carburetor after rebuild. Degradation on the carburetor performance due to aging diaphragms ang gasket can be temporarily compensated by adjusting the throttle needle screw but will also adversely affect the iddle which you may have high iddle. Best to rebuild the carby.
Just bought a gasket set and gauge from your ebay store. Thanks for the video.
Sorry I missed this comment. Thanks for watching the video and finding this informative. VARIETECH
