With as much attention to detail the did on the rear engine, It amazes me that they didn't actually have anyone the understands how turbo's work and just stuck them on for looks.
Wow. It never ceases to amaze me how much MONEY movie production companies dump into these prop cars. It really is an astronomical amount of cash, labour and ingenuity. 😮
Another good and enjoyable video! Thank you! About the intimidating appearance of the car, I read i-can't-remember-where that the scene which the Batmobile is introduced, like she was a demon waiting in the dark for its prize, got inspiration from a certain red Plymouth Fury.. :) ...anyway, what a car 😍
Doing better with the voice over volume! Knock it up to about the level it is at when you say "Fact #4", etc. A lot of people love this kind of stuff. Me included.
Thanks much; yeah a couple other folks have commented on raising the voice volume a bit, so I'll up it even a bit more then going forward. Thanks again 🙂👍
For me it's clearly a 60's Charger, but I know that for the movie the car was totally built from scratch, but I like to imagine that in universe they used a Charger as a base car for this sick looking batmobile !
Thanks and glad you are enjoying the channel. Yes, I also wish I had a Hollywood level of salary; without actually having to be an actor in Hollywood that is 😉
Not sure on the specifics of that, but much as custom built Rally cars are setup with, power it is fully adjustable to the front and or rear wheels. like, 50/50, 100/0, 75/25 and anywhere in between most likely.
This vehicle just confuses me. Is it supposed to be a twin ICEngine car? If it's rear engined ICE and front engined jet, what are the flames out of the front and sides supposed to be (same question if it's single rear engine)? And what is the deal with the afterburner coming out of the middle of the engine in the rear. Shouldn't the crankshaft be in the way of the jet in that location (plus the routing a hot jet exhaust through an engine being an "interesting" engineering challenge itself). Or is the afterburner supposed to work igniting the regular exhaust of the engine (as it kind of looks like) and it's a single ICE in the rear? Yes, apparently the Spitfire gained a little thrust from the exhausts, but that Batmobile setup doesn't look like any exhaust thrust would work, piping coming in perpendicular. Seems like it would have been easier and made more sense to pretend the rear engine was a jet and front was ICE, add a couple of scoops to feed the jet with air.
Yeah, it all doesn't make much sense indeed, best to not try to think on it too hard on it. It's like trying to use logic on a cartoon; a fruitless effort, lol. I think they just pretty much shoved light effects in any hole they could to make it seem "extreme" and eye catching.
@@CarStarz42 at least we got to see you make another interesting video, so we got something out of it. There's always going to be something that doesn't make sense in most movie cars if we think too hard. This one just seemed to cram lots of nonsense into what admittedly is a pretty cool looking car.
It's a great idea but it looks so unfinished as if batman ran out of money and put the bare bodie on the chassis this could be one of the best bat mobiles ever but it looks like it is a fast and furious reject car is batman going to join toretto? Lol

This scene was very well done. The car DID look menacing and distinctly American.

I've always thought about painting a truck with similar effects.

What’s crazy about this Batmobile is that it’ll probably be the easiest to replicate in the real world, V8 and all.
For me it's clearly a 60's Charger, but I know that for the movie the car was totally built from scratch, but I like to imagine that in universe they used a Charger as a base car for this sick looking batmobile !
It certainly captures all the awesome charisma of a 1969 Charger, that's for sure! 😁
Funny, the roof lines invoked early Camaro for me. I have to squint and look at it sideways to see any charger...
@@willstikken5619 Yeah, it's a muscle car styling hodgepodge for sure, lol 😁
The side view definitely looks like a 68-73 Charger, but certain features look like the Mad Max car. That was an Australian Ford Falcon.
I wish I had a big Hollywood size budget to go make things.
Great content thanks for your hard work and reserch. I really enjoy the videos.

Batman at the dirt track.
This is the coolest of all bat mobiles
There's been so many great Batmobiles that it's hard to choose just one 😉
hands down the best batmobile since the '60s TV show.
It's a quite capable and stylish rally car for sure 😉
Looking at it I was thinking a chellvelle
I see 67 Camaro or 66 Chevelle. Maybe because i've owned both but never had a Mopar boat.
In real life that rear engine would make it almost undriveable.
Not to mention an easy target for anyone pursuing to shoot at.
Assuming it is not needed to counterbalance a lot of weight somewhere else.
1:55 "Rally style transfer case" Any info on the front and rear differentials?

@@markwallace1727 Thanks and true indeed 😉
how much horsepower this car was making I think i missed it ?
It was an modified LS3 engine producing around 650HP, mentioned in Fact#3 😉👍

Fact Number 11: The 2022 Batmobile is the ugliest and most forgetable car ever used by Batman.
An understandable viewpoint 😉
Being a very long time Batman fan it was hard for me to like this film because of vampire boy.... I thought the movie car would have been alot cooler
I know exactly what you mean and the ONLY thing I like about this movie is the car.🙂
Looks like some leftover fast and furious crap
