For the people that "know" what a 335d is capable of, always deserve your respect. I know my focus st mk4 even at 320bhp will struggle against a stock 335d let alone a tweaked one. The engine is a masterpiece
Isn't. This engine has hidden defects. Major is micro cracking crankshaft . Will eat rod bearings and next in timing chain
@@kamilozw86only with bad maintenance. Know loads with high mileage and no problem at all. The rod bearings are a problem with the previous generation.
M57 is masterpiece, n57 not so much.
I know the engines are fantastic, but I played against a 435d xdrive in my stock Cupra 280 and I was surprised at how slow it was. When I say slow I just didn’t expect to be able to pull away from it. I’m 99% sure my Cupra is still stock so I suspect the one u raced was mapped.
@@TBagger489 doubt he was flooring it. My stage 1 125d played with stock cupras and my 335d was much quicker standard than my 125d.

@@thejudge-kv2jk Sure did mate, it’s a cracker. Back in the late 90’s when we were using Kicker stereo stuff in our cars, that tune was one of our go-to’s to see our number plates etc vibrate 😂

Love the 335d, i have a 435d Convertible myself and it pulls like a train. 385bhp, 846nm. Great on fuel for the power

Had a 2016 335d xdrive before moving to a newer F82 M4 - the 335d was phenomenal!!
Just got my 35D Stage2 last week, bro...😂 beast of a family car for sure.

I was surprised by the choice of tuning as I have never heard of these guys.
Numbers are not the only that surprise me, as a lot of tuners push the 35d's to 400hp, but the amount of smoke which is 0 is what impresses me.
You surely made the right choice and that's how every stage 1/2 diesel should be.
Cannot wait for the dragy numbers and hope you bring it to some weekend battles.

Quarter mile will be: 11.7-11.8

I've seen 335d's embarrass Porsches, M Cars, and AMG 63's. Never underestimate an inline 6 BMW diesel.
Need my 335d f30 tuning, but at 91k it needs some prep work...
Water pump, injectors, aux belt and tensioner...
It's a weapon and fairly cheap to run.

Nothing wrong with having the 330d version. Stick hybrid turbos and the other mods on and it will be seriously quick. Very underrated cars. Hope your enjoying the car. I love mine 😊
330d still good engines, my mate got a 550bhp one and it puts alot of cars to shame

Had my 2015 330d for like 5 weeks and already about to book it in for a map! First diesel and the grunt is addictive
I've only tuned 1 diesel, a 2.0tdi seat ibiza of all things, standard 143bhp and 320nm, custom map plus dpf delete made 197bhp and 480nm, an insane 50% increase in torque! The car was capable of 80mpg on long trips combined with hot hatch power it's the car I have owned longer than any other, and that includes a 400bhp 340i, the overall package is that good

I didn't like bmw until I actually bought one then realised what all the fuss was about haha.
Ive been seriously considering getting one of these in estate form as i need something a bit better for family. I was also looking at an older S4 advant but the value for money amd pace of these 335d's is swaying me.

2.0 tune and a cat back delete will make these 335d absolute monsters. Now go 2.5 tune on the motor. 2.0 flash on the trans. Delete egr, swirl flaps, blast intake. Wagner 2.0 evo intercooler and you are running sub 3s 0/60. 🚀
Dang 400hp with just a reflash! Looking forward to this build series, not a lot of these over 500hp.

My mate has a 390bhp e60 535d thing is an absolute monster it's had the limiter removed we tapped out at 160😂😂
change camshagt Ex only+put wmi+turbo billet f55 can push 50-60 psi...here if use f55 top line turbo diesel still daily use.but if 50 psi i think your injector cant survive if stock.

Yeah I have a 435d gc with tune and an intercooler, runs 11.9 almost every time
