I picked up three, the C-414 (super flyer), the Kodiak (I do like bush flying), and the CH-47 (very docile helicopter. Only one complaint, the new version, with working AFCS isn't up yet in the Marketplace and hoping the get the update available soon). Haven't tried the Cherokees yet, I should as I soloed at 14 in a 140 and still remember the tail number N8335R after, well let's more than 50 years. Hey thanks so much for all the great advice and update news, your efforts are appreciated by many!
They have some great deals on the planes you have listed. I have TONS of time in MSFS in the BAe146, PMDG, and Kodiak. BAe146 is a funky little Regional Jet that was used by many US carriers in the early days of RJ's and as a person that has now owned 2 of the 3 releases across the platforms the MSFS is the best version imho. The latest update with the custom UNS works almost spot on to any that have flown the Q400 in other sims. The UNS has worked flawless for me and the plane is great if you want a more analog aircraft. PMDG is well PMDG and works as it should and is expected to. For a dev that doesn't usually have sales this is a big one. The Kodiak is a great solid airplane that will feel very familiar to those that have flown the C208 or anything with a G1000. Can land on shorter strips than a C208 but is a bit more challenging to land than a C208. Many of your other choices for the list are also spot on and from many of my IRL pilot friends both Private and Professional are great airplanes as I have seen them fly them a ton and rave about them being great planes like the 414 and Comanche specifically.
I can attest to the 146. Not for the faint at heart, but tons of fun to get a hang of. Currently my favorite plane in the sim. Haven’t picked up the PMDG 737 yet, mainly because I can’t decide on which one. Seems like now would be the time.
I have SO many great aircraft. Many that Ive not even flown yet. Im an airline simmer for the most part, so my time is typically in the fenix a320, headwinds a330, or inibuilds a300.
The PA28 Warrior II doesn't appear to be on sale -- I just went and looked. Maybe you meant the PA28 181 Archer II by Carenado? It's on sale for -30% off ($13.99).
another awesome video andddd. steerman hasnt been updated in forever and flies like hmmm and 146 yah cool and ynow it may hurt a little but buy direct if I can so any update comes you get it right now
Thank you so much for your insight. I just bought the HPG H145 (on sales too!) but very disappointed. It really stresses my system (RTX3080-10Gb/i7-12700/32GB) eating up at least 12 fps (from steady 30 to 18) and stutter every 5 sec) My FBW A32nx smooth as butter. Also the H135 no issues. Trying to get a refund
Yeah, I don't like buying especially aircraft addons there, too - but all the add-ons are on the market for a while and don't get updates every week anymore. So the big "waiting for updates"-problem isn't such a big deal with them. And the discounts are great!
The deal has passed and I’m not sure if the Vulcan was on the sale but: get the Vulcan if you like analog aircraft. It is beautiful, it is realistic, and the SOUNDS 😍😍😍. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket buy the 146 set of aircraft.
Lots of good planes on sale. However, not a fan of Carenado ( agree with you on the Archer II for P3D, it was terrible- Nothing like IRL - hesitant to buy for MSFS because of that). You get what you pay for, in my opinion. Also, I generally stay away from purchases in the Marketplace. They are slow to update because of the restrictions Asobo places on the Marketplace. Just look how long it takes PMDG to get approval to update their aircraft through the Marketplace. Sometimes it is months after they released their update for those of us who purchased outside the Marketplace.
@@IslandSimPilot OK, cool. I'm gonna give it a go...again. Someone did ask you in your original video if it was safely reversible, and although I don't know if you replied, I do know that I did this mod, seems like, a couple of years ago, and it did, indeed, hose my MSFS installation; I had to reinstall it to go back to stock maps.
@@imacmill I have seen instances of that happening; it's rare, and my best guess is people are not stopping the mod after exiting the sim and then uninstalling the mod. You have to close the sim, stop the program, and then uninstall it. That's my partially-educated guess on what happens. But it's very rare. It happens though.
I have Cowan Products in XP11 and they were very well done. I have yet to pick any up for MSFS but this may be my first. Trying so hard to save money for FSExpo, lol.

You're so welcome! I soloed in N4556R, a 1966 140!

Do you have part 2 of this video??

First time the C182RG was discounted as far as I know. Of course, I just bought it two months ago after waiting ages for it to go on sale.
Oh man! That sounds like something that would happen to me.
Too many good planes, not enough time!!
I feel exactly the same way!
That's my problem.
I only wish they had the more recent Arrow III with the small round nacelles like N354MA
ini a300 on sale?

You are indeed correct! Thanks for pointing that out.

Saw this sale. Picked up the A2A. I typically dont like buying planes through marketplace, but not a big deal.

Yeah I’m sorta the same way but I’m picking up a few here as well.

They’ve gotten a lot better about getting the updates out, which is great!
Same here: My problem is the lack of time.
100%. Lots of aircraft I'd love to learn to fly.
Yep. Sure choices, Piper Arrow II/III/IV, Cessna C414, PMDG 737 series.🛫✈️🛬
Absolutely bang on with your suggestions .. cheers 💯
Thanks my friend!
Arrow Mk III / 182 RG / Comanche 250 all look tempting as I flew theses 3 aircraft IRL (no GPS though)
All great aircraft!
Hey, ISP. I'm curious...are you still using Bing maps in your sim?
I do, it just depends on what I'm doing. If I'm flying for fun, absolutely. Often if I'm doing videos for the channel, or streaming, I won't.

Good morning when relased v1.0 mod frame generator ?
I'm not sure about that, Riccardo, but check out the Lossless Scaling video I just released, really cool program!
Anyone any idea if the Cowan CS-500E Heli would be worth it?
I have Cowan Products in XP11 and they were very well done. I have yet to pick any up for MSFS but this may be my first. Trying so hard to save money for FSExpo, lol.
yes most definately Ihave this little bird and its fantastic imho
It’s definitely in the top 3-4 Helis. Worth it if it’s on sale.
Would these planes continue to work in MSFS 2024?
he said that in the video.
@@infinitewisdom9619 he did indeed, not sure how I missed it, apologies. Going to have to go shopping then.
Be right back, gotta go shopping for airplanes.
There are some steals!!
Are these "top planes" confirmed sipported in FS 2024? Im not buying anything that will be unsupported in the impending next version....
Bonjour mon ami !
Bonjour!!!
