7th Int'l Mariachi Women's Festival in Los Angeles, CA

The 7th annual International Mariachi Women's Festival was held virtually on October 24, 2020, only 7 months from when the pandemic was declared a global emergency. The festival celebrated the Mexican Day of the Dead and featured Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles, Mariachi Las Adelitas UK from London, England and Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea. For three hours that evening, the worries of the pandemic were forgotten and the many who watched at home indulged in a festival that virtually connected them to the beautiful sights and sounds of mariachi women's performances, tradition, family and songs of that touched the heart. The festival was produced and directed by Mariachi Women's Foundation Executive Director and Founder, Dr. Leonor Xóchitl Pérez. This is a short 3-minute clip of this 3-hour event.
