  • Hi Friends!
I just received brand new mixer last week and I'm extremely happy to share with you on how this mixer does! I can tell you one thing, the price and quality for what you get, beats far more then famous Famag mixers, just listen how quiet this is with tilting head! And the price is even cheaper then Famag!

That is why I choose to make a video and show everyone if it works. I was not able to find any tests or any info online. It works sooo good, it does not heat up the meat and mixes so well, I absolutely love it!

That’s great I’ve got a 10kgFamag mixer ready to try.

what seems to be the optimal amount of dough? I would be putting about 1.8kg in it.

That would be just fine. I made smallest batch 1.4kg and it mixes, but anything smaller I don't think it would work. This machine is for bigger batches. Usually if I make 3-4 loafs about 600g each and it's fine. Hope that helps!

When you live in Europe it will never beats a Famag in price. First it doesn't ship outside USA and Canada and even if, the taxes and shipping costs are huge. Pity, because it looks and sure sounds like a very nice machine.

I was looking for Famag and then found this. Famag is almost double the price.
This is commercial grade mixer, heavy duty, hard heavy stainless steel. For it to break you really need to throw some heavy work at it. I've been using it for almost anything, meat, bread, bagels, baguettes, so far it's been great! It's quiet, runs on DC motor which has a nice soft start and slow down, different speed levels, timer and for $1300cad with tilting head, I'll take it! Not even close to Famag price and their internal parts. This one is extremely quiet which I love too

I am very interested in the Alpha mixer so I checked them out. I’m curious to know if you are near where the mixer came from or did you pick it up? I was looking at shipping costs and they want nearly $500 to ship it to me here in Langley BC.

I'm from Surrey, BC and my quote was about $100 for shipping. Came in a couple days. Send them an email for the full quote, website must be calculating something wrong.

Ok thx for the info. I was looking for a mixer to make bread but never thought of it for mixing my sausage meats. Right now I have a Cabelas hand crank mixer and it really is garbage.

@@rjross100 yes, I do quite a bit of meat products, specially it works wonders for mixing the sausage or salami batches. It's gentle, easy to clean, does not mush the meat and for bread I do that too weekly. I can mix 6 loafs at the time, no problem. I noticed one issue so far that the bowl gets lose after mixing for 7-8minutes, so I might have to do some alterations to the locking mechanism, an extra lock or something.

Thanks for posting. Little info about this mixer. After 9 months of use, how’s it holding up? Any notable pros and cons?

Someone asked that earlier and I can say I'm very happy! I've been using it mostly for my meat mixing, and had zero issues. On the other hand, I noticed that after mixing tough dough for 8-10min my bowl usually unscrews itself from the friction and seller offered me full refund and free return shipping for the mixer, but I decided to keep it and I'll just diy small little lock in the future. Others mentioned that they never had this problem so maybe it's just my mixer 🤔

@@sean9535 otherwise it's great machine, no issues with motor or controls at all so far. That is the most critical points! No rust or any other issues, everything is super solid, commercial grade stainless steel, really tough machine! Hope it helped !

How much ground meat will it hold

It has 10qt bowl. Last time I mixed about 3.5-4kg of meat and it was just fine. I'm sure it can handle another 3-4kg without over spilling.
