This is real life there are fails that are out of our control….! Credit to you for showing reality with a mk1 TT 🔧👍🏻
Always used forte engine flush myself. Supposed to have decent wear protection in the formulation. I was told by a mechanic many moons ago to run half a bottle for a good drive b4 hand and then 15 minutes on the other half as per instructions. Had engines apart at 250K miles and they're spotless inside with naff all bore or bearing wear. Also. Love the Kevin content 😁👌
Hello mate, highly recommend the pro race engineering reinforced and baffled sump if you’re after an upgrade
it happens mate the thing with these 20+years old cars is they have had some neglect so we need to get the maintenance back up to date and there will always be surprises on the way, but your sort it 👍
@@GreaseMonkeysGarage sounds like the TT will be back on the road in no time 👍🏻
Inspirational stuff brother, can we get a cost rundown? Also do you have a mechanical/ hands on background or do you just self teach online etc?
You should look at Liqui-Moly engine flush mate, I used with a Peugeot 307cc that had lifter tap, and it solved,, granted it's a little more expensive the Wynn's but it's worth it, will be doing my Merc when the weather gets warmer...
Same thing happed to me. Had to change the pan😔
Had the same today. Went to change sticking calliper. Bolts all rusted so rounded off and busted brake line. Car now undrivable
Ive done a fair few now they are so easy to break.
Messy job… I let someone else do my pick up pipe replacement.. for what it costs it’s not worth the hassle..👍
@@GreaseMonkeysGarage I know it’s content but it’s also hassle .. there actually good cars when there sorted .. had mine coming up 6 years 😎 good luck pal 👍
