I have no criminal background or driving tickets. These companies are falling apart and the customer support is gone.

What a crap policy. I wasn’t prepared to be out of work all of a sudden with no warnings or anything. Uber is unethical when it comes to their drivers. Another case of big tech abusing its power.
What you are encountering is the same thing I'm going through.. Been down since Dec 23rd. THEY SHUT YOU DOWN AT THE BUSIEST TIME OF YEAR WHICH IS BULLSHIT. You know what I did.. I went on Twitter and posted my disdain for this process on Dara Khosrowshahi page. To this minute I'm still down. I could have made up to 3K from the 23rd until now

Good review. However, from personal experience and for those that find themself caught in the web between Uber and CheckR support when trying to get untangled…there is no easy way to explain. Your advise is good. Both will send you to what I call AI CHAT. Just follow all suggestions, be persistent, and realize this might take way longer than you expected. And later if you are finally approve you might think it wasn’t worth it cause the risk and cost is high.

I called uber went to Uber office contacted checker and even went and got my own NATION WIDE background check and still offline this is definitely a glitch in there system my mvr and criminal are mint never had a ticket never been charged with anything unbelievable how they do us
Hey Jonathan I have been working for Uber for more than 6 years with almost 20,000 trips, 4.97% rating but for some reason Uber decided to run or revise my background check again after I was working; don't know why???? just waiting but I am hopeless this situation will have a happy ending cause is been 6 days and still nothing. I think this Uber background have many glitches and needs to be addressed seriously. Customer service is out of US where they don't know really knows about the drivers needs. Checker took 4 days to do it and sent me a copy and it came back clear but uber still hasn't finished their review of it is what they are telling me. I have been shut down for 21 days and counting. WTF??

My background check literally took 3-5 minutes. Everywhere I check says it takes 3-5 days. Checkr applicant portal tells you when it started and when it was finished. Mine took exactly 4 minutes. This is for only Uber eats in California last month.

I've been self employed for the last 6 years and due to covid-19 now I have to get a different job. I don't get why it's taking so long because of record is clean and my credit is great. The big difference between background checks is national or local checks. FedEx, Amazon & other companies like that run a national check & those can take up to a couple months because they are dependent on how fast the state agencies get back to them. It’s a way more extensive check than Uber, which is county based.

Uber has made me suffer, they say I failed background check after checking my New York driver's license which was on their record and yet I has transferred to another state MD, I uploaded the MD driver's license after being cleared by checkr but uber insist my driver's license has restrictions. I paid for an abstract report for my driver's license which shows no restrictions. I discovered that those uber attendants failed to interpret checkr report which says MD DRIVER'SLICENSEISSUED/OUT OF STATEDRIVER'SLICENSESURRENDERED/VOIDED. The dropped case shouldn’t count against you & the misdemeanor may not if it’s been a while. Just apply & try it. Doesn’t cost anything.

Why tf am I paying £40 for the background check ?
Uber has made me suffer, they say I failed background check after checking my New York driver's license which was on their record and yet I has transferred to another state MD, I uploaded the MD driver's license after being cleared by checkr but uber insist my driver's license has restrictions. I paid for an abstract report for my driver's license which shows no restrictions. I discovered that those uber attendants failed to interpret checkr report which says MD DRIVER'SLICENSEISSUED/OUT OF STATEDRIVER'SLICENSESURRENDERED/VOIDED. I consulted from my other uber driver's they said they experienced the same thing when they transferred to another state. Is it illegal to transfer states when working for uber. Sounds so weird 😕

They said they can’t verify who I am based on my social and had me take a picture of my ssn card so I was suspended and they said 5-10 days and I been contacting both party’s doordash and checkr and nothing

I have a question. I switched states moved to Arizona. , I got a ticket for a red light. 2 years ago. It’s still shows on checker. And came back complete. I never got anything that says approved. How can I fix this? This was two years ago and a went through really a yellow light. Augh. When I sign into Uber then to back ground. It says complete but it’s all red. Any advice?

Been waiting for 3 months now for a cori background check. Checker was done fast but cori still waiting , and customer service only lies over the phone . I would kick their ass if i had the chance, cause this mths been pissing me off for 3 months with only lies .

Out of the blue the other day my dads Uber stopped working because of a background check. I checked Checkr but it states there is no pending review. How is he supposed to make a living for his family? My dad has been working for Uber for more than 5 years. He’s a good driver and has 4.9 star rating. This is unfair!!!!

Uber should stop deactivating it's drivers with investigating but luckily I got my Uber account reactivated through one of the admin on here *zihacking__* on Instagram after several recommendations. They're reliable

So I see there's 2 orders in checkr from uber one is cleared and other is pending why is there 2
They're 2 different ones for 2 separate checked times. Pending one is the current and other is a past check done
