I can still clearly remember the wakes of Supercats around early 2000’s when their vessels were still equipped with Kamewa waterjets. The wakes and wash were really huge, compared with today’s vessels only using normal propellers. I guess it’s also for fuel efficiency that’s why they preferred the propellers. Anyway thanks for this video! 🙂

No my friend hehe. I used my voucher from the shipping company that is why I took this trip. This is just 3 hrs ferry away from our city I went back the next day.
I can relate this experience traveling the sea during bad weather . It’s not fun experience. Many moons ago when I was still a student traveling / crossing the Samar sea going to biliran in a pump boat during bad weather was like riding a roller coaster .Been there done many times …Samar sea is not easy to travel during bad weather . I’m glad that land travel is now the mode of transportation going to biliran than the sea travel . I miss it though especially watching those beautiful islets from the mouths of San Juanico straight by Samar then throughout the entire straight until San Juanico bridge Its a beautiful scenery, I will travel that route again on my next vacation .
Thank you Sir for sharing your experience. Amihan strikes hard on those routes enhanced by an LPA it was thrilling but at the same time fun experience for me haha

I've travelled on the SuperCat between Ormoc and Cebu in both directions under the same weather conditions and it was really scary. Can you tell me which vessel is the safest to take on this route?
St. Camael and Sariel and the sister St. Dominic 1 and supercat 36 can withstand those waves on their height, width and the distane of the beam from the water these 4 vessel are much higher than nuriel, sealthiel, braquiel and jhudiel tho they are also catamaran there just minimizing the roll but it still has the pitching motion which is still dangerous specially sa mga nakalowered na vessel. I actually noticed it when nuriel and dominic are serving the calapan route nuriel cancelled their trips while dominic is still running her trips tho nuriel is bigger when it comes to overall size. So no need to worry on these vessels.
Great observation Sir. I took St Braquiel on my way to Cebu and I noticed she lowers her speed when the waves are really strong but eto si Camael consistent lang yung speed nya I will upload that too in the next few days. Thanks Sir!
