I was lucky enough to finally see and meet Brody for the first time the same year we lost him. What a legend. Enjoy it! Yes! 818 til I die!
The thing about Brody is that he wasn’t afraid of the crowd but also he was stuck in a mental space.
I don’t know how to put it into words but I’m for sure certain that he was intelligent enough to continue to develop greater jokes.
He was a step below legendary because for what ever reason, he stayed stuck in his development.
I understand how that feels and know what it’s like to not care to push through with it.
Those anti depressants are hit or miss but of course, you’ll never know until you try them.
If anyone is aspiring to be a comedian or is one already; Push, Believe! Positive Energy!
Most people just didn’t understand him I can’t stop laughing though
Brody was simply legendary sad I didn’t get to see him live
Why'd he stop performing live?
@@stsk7 Brody died in 2019. Man, that sucks to write out
@@stsk7 Brody beat eczema and ingrown hairs with apple cider vinegar and supplements but couldnt quite beat depression. He hung himself in 2019. I know he was loved by a lot of professional comics but I think he sucks at stand up.
"you don't walk out on a good guy; my dad went to north hollywood high school!" one of the funniest and most ridiculous things i've ever heard
Seems like you have a shit sense of humor then.
We love you Brody
Damn. I wish I heard of this guy before he died. He's delightful.
Check out his Comedy Central documentary series called "Enjoy It!" produced by Zach Galafanakis, and his appearances on the Joe Rogan podcast. I really miss him.
I wish he was still here.
Why does this have so little views? Rip to one of the greatest ever
I wondered the same thing!
cause its not comedy lol
Because if this is his best... oof.
Glasses, glasses, glasses, glasses, no glasses, no glasses, no glasses, you took off your glasses, no glasses
It was a constant imagined battle with a belligerent audience. His show isn’t the jokes, its the stuff in between the jokes.
It almost disturbs me sometimes. Crosses the line between what he knows as comedic and just him being himself. rip
It’s very original and that’s why he’s great
0:19 Was that an Andy Dick "YES" ?? I think so 😂
Such a funny flex on someone @ 1:39
The best
“I’ve cried at an open mic!”
Arms crossed, negative, but I like you
💜
Glasses
Such a shame that he was upset at the reviews of this special. As someone who has watched many Brody late night sets on UA-cam, this one isn’t the best but still very funny
I just found out he died I've been in my little positive internet bubble for while haven't i
Does anyone have the bit where he just describes his ideal two bedroom apartment?
did you come from Bill Burr describing that bit? I wanna hear it too
I want to hear it
Glasses sounds weird now
818 MFers
As a comedian, I thought he was well below average; a guy who seemed desperate for friendship and acceptance. I came to this conclusion after several of his visits to the Chelsea Lately show a few years ago. Kind of a sad ending for a man who should have chosen some other occupation. RIP
Anyone who says they're a good person is likely not (trying to convince themselves). But will look up more on this guy, doesn't seem very funny to me.
I don’t miss him. Negative energy
