Yeah battle rankings are pretty lame lol but I do like how quick they are too. Dungeon rankings are definitely way better but pretty time consuming too
Wish you did more infomation breakdowns on the scores you got from each boss. Since thats the meat and potatoes of how you get the higher scores. Small notes you can see them boss by boss on review page.
I see why the last boss killed me now I be trying not to use items on anyone cause I believe you get a higher score lol I never use items on any battles 😂
Yeah I had a minimal item run and got around 4.2ish million. Some cases it is more beneficial to use them though. When they really help you clear the boss that much faster where it was worth taking the score hit
Unfortunately can’t do ex don’t have any high ob6 or higher Water Potency Weapons and Levi isn’t ranked for his Ability for second. Haven’t done Ex1 I’m bad at this game. Did manage 100 Anniversary Tower, and Brutal Tower up to 20 I completed
Went Red (debuffer) / Cloud OB10 Maritime and OB6 BahaGS / Mag Tifa. The mixing of Physical and Magic feels weird but I feel like Cloud is doing enough damage to warrant his being there. I don't think, short of pulling Mag Seph which I do not want to do, my setup can't really be tweaked anymore. High score is 4.178. so I'm probably fine for Top 150, though I wish I could hit at least 4.2m.
Yeah mixing magic and physical is tough to run because you can't just focus on boosting physical or magic attack. Top 150 is more than good enough. The rewards don't warrant pulling a banner just to get top 20 or 50
If you cant do the ex difficulty just do the best you can in very hard or hard. Gotta just work with what you got. Could try to just pump up your PATK or MATK stats as high as you can and use watera/watera blow materia. Could try your non elemental weapons as well
You click thru before I can see your boss score 😢. I just broke my score open a bit more to 4.548 it’s not easy - no idea how some people are doing like 65k more points than me it seems like one hit max damage doesn’t change much between normal fights and when you use summons it’s seems to cap out, not sure what the ‘boss takedown bonus’ means hmm 🤔 but it differs from run to run
My bad, clicking fast is a habit when you run through these dungeons over and over lol not exactly sure what boss takedown bonus means either. I just try to do these dungeons fast and minimize the damage. I improved my run to 4.2ish million by using less items but i'm limited because my water teams are just too weak

Where did you end up for rank / did you up your score? Everything I was seeing put top scores needing to be like 4.6 million
I got 133 lol it got super super competitive in my group. Way more than I anticipated

I would say bad at the game but more on the newer side. You'll catch up in power the more you play

Does anyone know if stat buffs affect the summons too? Like if you activate Genji Blade, will that increase the damage output from the summons?
Yes boosting MATK and PATK will boost your summon damage so yeah, definitely smart to pop that before using a summon
i cannot complete ex it is super hard ony if i have best water build
If you're a newer player it will definitely be more difficult. Just do the best you can with the difficultly below that

Wish i could get my cloud to 10k attack. Most i can get on him is around 8k.
