    this was the best method I have ever used ! I kept having fish eyes even though I would wipe down my cups with alcohol & make sure there was no debris or oil. I realized it was because there wasn’t enough resin in those areas due to me just pouring on random spots & spreading it out causing some areas to have more resin than others!! Seriously so glad I came across your video💙

    You sand, apply decal and then apply another coat of epoxy, right? I've seen people put their decal onto the glitter. I don't like how it looked especially when they didn't use extra fine glitter. their decal looked bumpy. Even if they did sand their glitter. I am about to build my turner. I got a silhouette cameo 4. I've got to learn how to use it, I've never used anything like it. Hehe I had to buy a laptop, I've not used a computer in years! When my laptop died I replaced it with an iPad. I've caught myself starting to reach toward the screen a time or two forgetting to use the touch pad!! 🤦 I've got 2 tumblers, a stainless steel thermos and 2 water bottles glittered waiting to get their first layer of epoxy. if you hand turn, how long do you turn? I've got lots of pvc pipe scrap and boxes. I could make a hand turning apparatusfairly easily so I could get some of these turned pretty quickly and not wait and do them one at a time over a week.

    I did a tumbler and there is a little tiny place on it that didn't get any epoxy and you can see down to the spray paint. Do I have to strip it or can I just put another coat on to cover that spot up? I sure hope it's possible because I hate the thought of stripping it. I'm a newbie to all this and want to make sure I do things right.

  • @firemen579

    Your videos are great. I have been doing some tumblers using your methods. One problem I inconsistently have is that epoxy will build up in a spot on the bottom of the cup. Then when you stand the cup up, it isn’t straight and rocks. What am I doing wrong?????

    • @PeriodSixDesigns
      @PeriodSixDesigns  3 роки тому

      in my experience its probably because your cup may be slightly tilted on the turner and you cant really tell
