I really don't see the point in putting so much power into a family estate car or any family car to be honest. There is nowhere in the UK (except the mountain on the Isle of Man) you can use this legally on the roads, the fuel consumption is horrific and the road tax is massive, plus the price of the car is insane for the average punter. Why don't manufacturers invest their time and money into making cars safer, self driving technologies, more economic, better recyclable materials, increased reliability, longer warranties, easier and cheaper servicing etc. This is bad enough but over 1000 hp for a Tesla on UK roads? This is madness and I can see it being legislated against.

It is unfortunate that Audi is just coming out with the Performance models of the RS6 and RS7 along with the Competition versions of RS4 and RS5 a few months back with the whole transition into EVs and whatnot. I'm not ungrateful that we now have these cars, but to think that the RS6 and RS7 could've been on the same level as the regular AMG GT63 4-Door, AMG E63 Wagon, and F90 M5 Competition in terms of power is just surprising to me.
Hi Mat, great item! But why are the not-closeup shots soooo purple? Sky, chrome, blacks, YOUR sweater etc. Even the red of the Audi looks strange. I almost recalibrated my monitor until I saw some other shots.
It's a sad time knowing that the next RS6 will be electric 😢while the next M5 will retain a fantastic ice v8 with electric assistance why can't audi do the same?
What would make a good race would be an Audi RS N/A V8s vs Twin Turbo V6s battle. They all have 331KW but the V8s are down on torque RS5 coupe 4.2 V8 vs RS4 Avant 4.2 V8 vs RS5 coupe V6T vs RS4 Avant V6T. A battle not just of engines, but also weight, torque, gearbox responsiveness and power delivery.
Few mistakes in this…… ceramic brakes aren’t available, sun roof is not standard on this model, it’s an optional extra. Can’t raise to 189mph top speed in the UK either.
What Matt doesn't understand about this AWD system is it's not a Haldex system like the RS3 which is actually similar to the BMW and Mercedes system in that the system isn't really AWD until it needs to be. The RS6 is full time mechanically connected instead of using slower reacting viscous couplings and transfer cases, and doesn't need to wait around for sensors to react and engage the system.
I know I saw this on the Neurberg ring on a video and I searched for and I found it! I said what a cool looking car😅 Then I found out was V8Turbo? Twin Turbo and it's a special edition and I go. Rs6 c7 performance for ever …!!❤
If you can, please review the maybach s class Pullman.
"Audi turns like it has a dead donkey tied to the hood!" - Jeremy Clarkson, founder of Top Gear 😆😆
Beware of going 300km😳
😐
Hi Mat, great item! But why are the not-closeup shots soooo purple? Sky, chrome, blacks, YOUR sweater etc. Even the red of the Audi looks strange. I almost recalibrated my monitor until I saw some other shots.
The best theme song car💀
Bring Mat Armstrong to a drag race at the landing strip
It's a sad time knowing that the next RS6 will be electric 😢while the next M5 will retain a fantastic ice v8 with electric assistance why can't audi do the same?
What would make a good race would be an Audi RS N/A V8s vs Twin Turbo V6s battle. They all have 331KW but the V8s are down on torque
RS5 coupe 4.2 V8 vs RS4 Avant 4.2 V8 vs RS5 coupe V6T vs RS4 Avant V6T.
A battle not just of engines, but also weight, torque, gearbox responsiveness and power delivery.
Great review per usual💯♥️
Agree. Wish Matt Watson reviewed the rare cars like RUF CR3 and BTR4.
Matt you said its like tyson fury and that audi didnt lie so nowt like tyson fury then 😂
Few mistakes in this…… ceramic brakes aren’t available, sun roof is not standard on this model, it’s an optional extra. Can’t raise to 189mph top speed in the UK either.
I like a car that’s quite when you cruise but starts to roar when you put your foot down.
When is the HiPhi Z review coming?
What Matt doesn't understand about this AWD system is it's not a Haldex system like the RS3 which is actually similar to the BMW and Mercedes system in that the system isn't really AWD until it needs to be. The RS6 is full time mechanically connected instead of using slower reacting viscous couplings and transfer cases, and doesn't need to wait around for sensors to react and engage the system.
I have a 2014 Audi TTS (300 hp) with a Haldex system and it's never missed a beat even in the wet, its just grip and go, even in first gear.
please do RS6 Perf vs M3 Touring
Imagine playing song with rs6 😂
Surely the Rs6 drops it's gearbox into Amax mode when launching like the S4/Rs4 does? Listening to this launch its shifting gears normally!
Lets have a race between the RS6 Performance vs BMW M5 CS 😮 agree?
Wanna get myself the earlier vision RS6 2015/16 has 56k km on the clock. Should I go for it or not? petrolheads please advise on the matter ahead.
I know I saw this on the Neurberg ring on a video and I searched for and I found it! I said what a cool looking car😅 Then I found out was V8Turbo? Twin Turbo and it's a special edition and I go. Wow, that's really cool. Wonder how much it costs. Then I found out😢 said well, I'll never have one as long as I live on earth it's like a $154,000.🤪
while i like my 2008 S6 with the v10, this would be fun to get
I saw one of these in person and lost my cool. I hate to gawk at other people's cars, especially an audi, but an every day station wagon doesn't get any cooler than this.
Audi theme song plays 💀
Good job Mat
make more videos of this amazing car so i can convince my dad to buy the rs6 and that’s it’s better than a rs3😅
maybe remove the gopros before teston 0 100... they mess up the aero dynamics...
Can you review the maybach s class Pullman?
