    Thx for the video...
For a kite loop, the bar must be pulled nearly vertical with back hand.
What is the angle of the bar for a heli loop? Just 10-20 degree from horizontal?
    I dont get it!!!!

Awesome video - thank you! I've been battling with these for ages. Recently I did a 13.9m jump and instincts took over. Your tip of making sure the bar is all the way in is very critical. Instinctively I get scared and push bar our slightly.
In this video I reach the peak of my jump and probably pulled it a little too soon.
I was still so high!! So for some reason looped it back the other way (bar slightly out) which pulled me more forward than catch me.
Check out the video and see for yourself.

What is the difference between downloop before landing and heliloop with front hand?

But how do you know when to start heli loop is? When you are going down is it always above youre head or behind or not? and should you always start heli looping after your apex?

Great vid as usual thank you. Is there a minimum height you need to jump before you can safely pull a heli loop?

I have just leard to do heli loops on normally powered days with a 9m, before that I've been trying on low power days with a 12m.
I would say both yes and no. You can do a heli loop from just a meter or two and the loop will be completed when you're back on the water. It will not catch you in any way, but from a few meters it's no problem.
AdvaKite has some great tips on this as well
I tend to need jumps of about 7m to complete my heli loop before I land. Higher is a bit scarier but somehow easier.
      Good luck with your progression!

Keep pulling the bar during the heli loop or not? Didn't really catch that clearly from your explanation.

by keep pulling, I mean of course you're committing on the turn of the kite, but pull the bar fully towards you during it?

Nope! A larger bar helps but you can for sure. - Rygo

If you land flat, you get it harder because there is more surface area to take the hit. If you jump from the 10m into the water you do it feet first not to your belly.

Best under powered but then how do you get enough height? what kind of wind speed does a 160lbs rider need to try this with a 9m?
