On point! The even more advanced technique to get longer slides is to the rock the kite back and forth slightly between 11 and 1 to keep the lift going.
I'll give that a try!

Some tips to boost high would be very useful : especially how to build and keep tension in the lines, and the board trajectory (do you go a little bit downwind before the pop, or not at all).

Awseome tips!!! One more question, once your're edging and start the roll. How powered should the bar be? When I look at videos of you & janek it looks like you're "half" powered during the slide and pull the bar at the end to create pull for landing.
So in my eyes full powered (edge), semi powered (roll + slide) full pull to get dragged out the water.

Random request: Can you do a tutorial on how to break 10m jumps consistantly. When my mates are hitting 12m - 14m I'm stuck at 9m - 10m .... I come from an old skool C kite background. Can't figure out where I'm losing 3m of height!

@@gethighwithmike No moved away from C's (just sold my vegas) I'm riding an old rebel, an epic screamer and some bandits.... but I think I'm still swinging the kite super hard and not quite sheeting correctly. Just kinda going long and low, not hitting that max height.

what about edging - for darkslide? I assume - it is needed to edge hard and keep lines tension but just before trick do not press edge harder like before jump? Am I right?

Yes you've pretty much got to use the back hand, unless you're really good at kite sorcery :)
Omg dark slide is like my kryptonite I just can’t do it. I can handdrag bankroll but when I try dark slide I just flop in the water or pull kiteloop to fast just get launched. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
It was really difficult for me at first too! But practice makes progress ;) What kite are you using by the way?

It is possible without a loop but there is a loop at the end of the big one

Like your videos but please take away subtitles as it is hiding half of the picture. It is better seeing e.g. how to put the board etc instead of reading what you are away telling us..it make subtitles smaller . Cheers
