It´s part of Rammstein´s magnificent artistry to be able to to provoke the same emotion every single time you hear on of their songs. No matter which song it is, the emotions I felt when hearing it the first time is exactly the same I feel every single time. It doesn´t fade away, no matter how often I hear it. Sometimes the emotions are stronger depending on personal situation, but they are still there. And Rammstein is the only band that is capable to achieve this for decades with almost every song they put out there.
It's interesting that Pink Floyd's song by the same name has a tendency to bring out the same kind of response, and as others have pointed out, more so the older one gets.
There aren't many UA-camrs who react so emotionally to the song. But I like that and it's OK. That's how it has to be. Because then you notice that people understand this song. RAMMSTEIN has a lot of emotional songs. If you read the lyrics and understand what message Rammstein wants to convey, you'll see. Rammstein has simply been the best band in the world for years. That's just a fact.
One of my favourite Rammstein songs. ❤ The line that gets to me the most is "Augenblick, verweile doch, ich bin noch nicht bereit". I've unfortunately had a lot of people in my life pass on; the first funeral I remember anything of was when I was two, for my cousin of the same age. Even in just the the past four years, I've gone to as many funerals (including one of my uncles the day before the pandemic shut the world down). I'm close to my dad. He actually just had his birthday yesterday, and I'm increasingly aware of the fact that he's getting older and I won't have him around forever. I dread the day I'll have to say goodbye to him; I don't think I'll ever be ready for it.
Rammstein makes art. The "creatures" are "The Norns". The 3 female Norns (named: Urðr, Verðandi, and Skuld) are deities in Norse, Germanic mythology who are responsible for shaping human destiny (past, present and future ). They keep the time ticking.
This one hits in the feels for sure. Also i think Till is very underrated as a singer, he can definetely sing with lots of feeling when he wants to. No need to feel sorry for your little "rants", we all have stuff inside us that needs to come out..., btw another real tear-jerker from Rammstein is "Ohne dich" so make sure to check it out.
Everybody really loves the classics and so do I. But I will contend that these last two records combined with their traveling cityscape stage, they have reached a whole new level of artistry
I lost my daughter passed away two years ago andI still cry when i am watching this clip. All the missed wonderful moments... which will never happen and NOTHING can bring back the moments of joy with her... NOTHING
This will always make me cry. My sister had cancer around the time this came out. I had been learning German at the time & she loved hearing me speak it as we lived 100s of km apart but I went through the whole pandemic getting on trains to go see her. One day it was a beautiful sunny winter's day. So we were hugging in the lounge room just feeling warm & enjoying the hug so I was softly singing this. The perfect moment. I went to leave & she called out love you. I called out love you right back! And that was the last time I would see her. 2 weeks later her health tanked & I was on the phone on speaker with her partner in the middle of the night as she slipped away, apparently with a little smile on her face. 2 years coming up in June. Est ist sehr schön
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Tears streaming down my face, listening to this song, reading your words (and this song already does this to me!). Time is truly precious. Peace & love to you all.
My father had cancer around the time this album was coming out. My brother and myself both think of our dad when we here this song. We live close to the German border, so we can understand the lyrics. During the concert of Rammstein last july my brother and I stand hugged and cry our eyes out during this song.
I have been a German Rammstein fan from the very beginning. They determined my zeitgeist, accompanied my life in many ways and were there with their art when I needed it. All of this was almost destroyed by the terrible press campaign surrounding last year's sexual debauchery and rape allegations. But today I am even more on the side of Till, my cousin Sven and the other boys, now that they have been identified as victims and not as the perpetrators. Keep it up and keep impressing audiences around the world... Love you.
All the „not our fault, it very well could have been him.“ of the media and all the other people speaking against Till is so disgusting. I was on his side the whole time.
This song shows on the hard way, how much valuable time is. You can be rich as hell, but with nothing on earth you can buy more time. God bless all who lost beloved
I had a cat named Pete. He got sick, developed kidney disease, and my family couldn't see him suffer. I couldn't be there when it was his time to go, so I kept listening to this song (plus "Helvegen" by Wardruna). I love this song, but I have a hard time watching it now, especially the scene with Ollie (the man who has his daughter taken away). The fact that Rammstein used the Nornir, the fates from Norse mythology, is especially poignant, because they demonstrate that we can't control time and how it affects all our lives. Thanks for all your reactions, but especially this one.
I've been a fan for years and love most of their music but the first time I heard/saw this all I could do was sit here with my mouth hanging open, tears in my eyes and an ache in my heart. This is a wonderful piece of music.
Every single time I cry when listening to this song. And it feels like I have to cry for every loss on this world ever happened. Have 2 kids too and the second verse is unbelievably hard to watch, but I can’t stop watching it. Sometimes I listen to it 10 times in a row and then I shut down my computer, go home and hug my kids and my wife.
I had a similar reaction when listening to it. This is one of their most deep, emotional songs I've listened to and, of course, one of my favorites. Time is merciless, so living a life with no regrets is what I've been learning to do also, after decades of living in an emotional captivity that made me feel anything else but myself.
Great reaction. When this album came out, 2 songs hit me hard; Zeit & Adieu. Zeit hits especially hard as I am past the halfway mark of life and lost my dad 16 years ago around the same age I am now. Miss him every day even though we weren't the closest. These guys are amazing live. If you ever get the chance, go see them.
Such an honest, human response! Chapeau! Living the remainder of one’s life with as little regret as possible is often an advise given to people suffering from a terminal illness. In a way, life itself is “terminal” in a manner of speaking. Therefore it’s a great realization to pursue this path of non-regretfulness. Thank you.
You made me cry. I said good bye to my mother 10 years ago and still hurt like before, but like you say, she became the spark, the reason to fight ever day. ❤️❤️❤️
That's one of those songs, they are so good and they get you so hard, that you can't listen to often to it As it reminds you, there are things, nobody can change
Sending a big hug from south Portugal... The way you reacted to this song to this video, shows your humanity your sensibility.. and I loved it. I Saw Rammstein Live here in Portugal, Lissbon at 26th Juny 2023 and I still can feel the emotions I got there at Feuerzone/Golden Ring zone... it was unbelieveble! This video makes us think about Life about us about what we realy are ... never change your inside personality
I'm a dad too, and I saw this video dozens of time, since it came out, and I always get tears on my face. Once as I see the birth, remembering the two moments new life came on earth, seeing the head of my daughter, of my son, coming out, those pictures burned in my head, I will never forget. And then, a few seconds later, feeling fear, looking at the eyes of the father, I have known what would come ... And then, he's running, too late, no mum, no dad will go through this. This is one aspect. Then, the perfect music, the colours, the visuals, the symbolic (men with scythes, the 3 norns, the sand-clock etc). You said it, a masterpiece.
Yeah this makes me tear up every time. Rammstein is such an amazing band with so much depth and variety in music that many people miss. The piano version of "Mein Herz Brennt" (official version) is like a theater monologue that you can't look away from. It gives me the same feeling as newly waking from a disturbing nightmare. No other band has managed to do that. Zeit now has to be added to my "crying on the bus-list" btw, but I knew what I was in for when clicked it😂
Great reaction! You are not the first crying when seeing this video! Get's me every time, too. Speaks for Rammstein, their music and their lyrics. This year marks 30 years of Rammstein. They really have reached the peak of their career and art!
I was not expecting that. What a beautiful and moving song. And, as incredible as the message in the song was, your "rant" at the end was equally as important. So many people are struggling in their lives and need to hear that right now, so thank you. Thank you for saying what needs to be said.
I love a lot of different genres of music, from alt-rock and pop to metal and classical music. This piece stands out. It’s a true timeless masterpiece. The text, the arrangement and the video fit perfectly together. It’s rare that a song manages to invoke emotion on that level for a variety of people. Awesome reaction too. I really like your thought behind the channel, an your thoughts on the song are very mindful and reflective. Thanks for sharing your life experiences.
"Zeit", "Adieu" & "Deutschland" are real Masterpieces/Milestones from Rammstein! I've known & loved the Band since the very beginning! Got to see them live several times...1997 the first time at a festival!
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody yeah having to take care of my parents for such a long time and the covid restrictions on top of that.. took a chunk out of my sanity..
Still remember when i watched it the first Time. Wasn´t ready for it and it still get´s me when i watch reactions. I tried to recommend Rammstein to Friends & Family, wish they would give them a Chance. Sadly they only think of Dark, Screaming and Metal when it comes Rammstein and don´t even try. If someone would read the Lyrics or check out there Videos, they would get it. Great Reaction btw. I have to say i really like the Setup....everything Dark in the Backround and nothing thats distract from the Video or your Reaction.
Schäme Dich bitte nicht Deiner Tränen. Als ich das Video zum ersten Mal gesehen und gehört habe, war ich komplett verliebt und fix und fertig zugleich. Vielen Dank für Deine berührende Reaction. Alles Liebe Dir💝
I discovered your Channel a while ago and watched a few videos. Then I subscribed to the Channel. With each video i saw more of your personality. In my opinion, it is the best and most personal reaction video of yours so far. yes, the song is really hard in a different way and makes you think. One of the best Rammstein Songs so far.Thank you for sharing with us. Greetings from the middle of Germany
You heard it in the song, "we live to die", I have seen too many loved ones die, eldest son, wife, mother, my girlfriend, but I got off the floor and carried on somehow. Never give up, there is a world of adventure, beauty and good things out there, live every day as if it were your last.
Everyone of us, when he has reached a decent age, has had these perfect times and the sad ones. One and a half year ago (end of 2022), I have stayed with my father for around one month as he got sick and was not anymore able to live alone. So I have shown him some videos over the time in first case from Ramstein: Deutschland, Mein Herz brennt as regular and Piano version, Adieu, Du hasst (Paris version as example of perfect crowed control) and Zeit and discussed with him the videos. And yes, Zeit really has had an impact on him, he was well aware, that his live will come to an end in next years. Last summer my father died after a short but rough 6 week illness. When I hear the song or when I see the video, I have to rember this time. It is not easy, it is getting better, but you have to recognize, the grief time has still not ended..
I have always had a very up and down relationship with this band, but I really liked this. I think the style in which the song is delivered lends itself to the vocalists voice. I enjoyed the slow, strong tone. Dude,I can relate on the whole angry thing. If it wasn't for my compassion I would be in a such worse place do to everything that has gone down in my life.
I am german...and it kicks so hard. Feel free to share you are crying. You feel it, I feel you. This song is so unique...they sing in another Language, but we feel us. I have 2 Daughters, too. But it is all about. Zeit. Buried my parents, love my Kids. Keep safe....but time will tell you whats all about. Love to you, my Brother. I call you a Brother...cause you feel the same.
I know exactly how you feel. I am the same and some times anger is overwhelming. This song has been my crutch since I lost my mother last year. She died from cancer less than three months of the diagnosis age 60. This played for four months straight and helped me with my grief and process everything. Time is the most valuable commodity the thing we have quantified and we want more and we some times don't have. The entire album almost is about loss it feels.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! For me it turned out to have even more meaning than the clip. At times the pain inside tears me apart, but the feeling that I am not alone, that I am creating something beautiful, keeps the light ahead.
Such a great song and video. Thank you for you reaction on it. I am going trough a harder time at the moment and it good to know that you are not alone. I had the pleasure to see them life a week a go and they played this song to. It was something special. thanks again.
Great reaction my friend. No one can deny the power of Rammstein. I noticed you don't have a playlist for them. Highly recommend doing it so it's easier to find them all when you've done a heap. There's a shit tonne to do and as long as you do them regularly you've got another sub.
Thank you. The song and video is a masterpiece. Rammstein's songs are always about deep topics and they make you think - that 's why I love them so much. I feel what you said and I understand your emotions. The message that this song sends to me: you don't know what you have until it's gone, so love and cherish the people that are in your life while they are still here, and let them know what they mean to you.
I went to a concert a week ago and as soon as the first notes od Zeit were played I burst into tears and couldn’t do nothing about it. It was very emotional moment for me, kinda unexpected because I am quite new fan of them. I love this song ever since. And not only this one.
This one means a lot to me too; I travel soon to Germany to meet old (german) friends, and amongst them, we just lost our second mom, an very old friend of my parents, since 1966, died a month ago. Zeit... Dem Ende treiben wir entgegen Keine Rast, nur vorwärts streben Am Ufer winkt Unendlichkeit Gefangen so im Fluss der Thanks for this one.
Thank you so much for you reaction! I'm from Germany and didn't like Rammstein in the beginning because they mostly are known here for their provocative stuff (which they use in a very clever way and which is one of their many layers). Until I saw a live concert that converted me (which is another layer of them, their live shows) and after that I got to know all their different artistic layers. All I can say: really appreciate your reaction video and sharing your emotions, they are true artists. One of the very very few artists that use money to serve their art, not the other way around.
I've also gone through a lot of cr** and had to bury my mom and my grandpa. My dad is currently very ill too and for a while things looked so bad the doctors said we might have to decide that he should be allowed to die. Luckily, things are looking better now. I really hope he keeps getting better and might have a few more years. I was so terribly worried and cried so much and the other deaths were already reason enough for me to cry when listening to the song. Mom died 13 years ago, but it still hurts. I've also often been a nobody basically, bullied relentlessly etc. but luckily, I've always had my family who were there for me and supported me. I don't know if I'd still be here if it wasn't for them.
When they playing life in Nijmegen this song i thinking about my mom it was my first concert what i saw in life next concert i going there so fantastic
This is the most beautiful song and video ever . You know , the first part and the tone for me feels like death can be , a sad, empty, nostalgic and peaceful place . They found the perfect pitch for representing that . Every time i listen to this song I cry because of my people that have left this world , and life itself that is so short . 😢😊 We have to take advantage of time and this beautiful gift we were so lucky to have . Enjoy and let it go !
We're all moving inexorably to the same place. What's so amazing to me about this song/video is the realization that even if we could run the clock in reverse, it would do nothing to change the end result. The nothingness before, and after, and the perfect moment is the only moment. The one we're living now.
I really love your words and your reaction. I served 25 years in the military and I had been to Afghanistan several times. Whenever I hear this song, I start crying for those who paid the ultimate price in this stupid war and I also cry because I made it alive and can hug my beautiful wife. Be safe!
You said something that struck a chord with me... The "say what you want to say" and the "honesty of it".... There was a famous actor in Portugal, which I admired a lot, António Feio. He passed away with cancer but before he wrote a book, and his message was "Don't leave anything undone, don't leave anything unsaid". This song does make me look back and see what is gone, what was lost, those who we left behind, those who we drifter apart from, those who we lost. All we left undone, unsaid, unloved. It makes me think that life moves forward, and that we need to live the present with those who we love, fight for them, and not waste the time.
I had the same reaction first time I watched this video. Powerful, evocative, impactful ….you name it. This band are on another level in my opinion, nobody comes close. Great reaction!
Thank you very much for your heartfelt reaction.. Rammstein are really unique and always their videos touch something inside you that you kinda forget or take for granted.. All of their albums have that quality Greetings from Greece 🇬🇷 New sub here ❤
Beautiful reaction. This song hit me hard when it was released - and it indeed had much to do with all those I've lost in my life - and still continue to lose! Because of this, I find it hard getting through the song without tears. Time is unbelievably precious. Use it wisely. Sympathies & love for all you lost.
rammstein is just incredibly heavy but also beatiful at times. This is for sure one of their best songs and videos. Can't wait for you to listen to more of their stuff. Also there is a channel on yt, educatedmarine, who translates the songs and has some custom videos for their hidden gems. I see you have reacted to slaughter and lorna, i wanna suggest another deathcore band: paleface swiss. Not sure what song in particular, i guess Curse Us is a nice one, tho the uncensored version might be triggering for some people. Personal fav is please end me. Nice reaction:D
I´m a grown ass man over 50 and I cry too. EVERY time I see it.
It´s part of Rammstein´s magnificent artistry to be able to to provoke the same emotion every single time you hear on of their songs. It's interesting that Pink Floyd's song by the same name has a tendency to bring out the same kind of response, and as others have pointed out, more so the older one gets.
Ditto, and I'm over 70. David Bowie's song "Time" (as I perceive it) is also full of emotions, 50 years older.
There aren't many UA-camrs who react so emotionally to the song. But I like that and it's OK. That's how it has to be. Because then you notice that people understand this song. It's like the calm part is "the perfect moment" and then the heavy part is time itself slamming into you on its relentless march

The piano version of "Mein Herz Brennt" (official version) is like a theater monologue that you can't look away from. It gives me the same feeling as newly waking from a disturbing nightmare. No other band has managed to do that.
Zeit now has to be added to my "crying on the bus-list" btw, but I knew what I was in for when clicked it😂
Girllll I was not expecting all this! Amazing song!
Great reaction! You are not the first crying when seeing this video! Get's me every time, too. Speaks for Rammstein, their music and their lyrics. This year marks 30 years of Rammstein. They really have reached the peak of their career and art!
I clicked for Rammstein, I subbed because you bared your soul.
Thanks so much! That means alot!
Thank you for the last minutes und your warm words. Needed that so much today. 🙏🏻
Keep your head up friend.
I was not expecting that. What a beautiful and moving song.
And, as incredible as the message in the song was, your "rant" at the end was equally as important. So many people are struggling in their lives and need to hear that right now, so thank you. Thank you for saying what needs to be said.
Thank you for the reaction!
Great reaction again. I love this song. One of their most beautiful songs and one of my favorites of the "new" Rammstein songs.
This song is a masterpiece. It is totally normal to get emotional. It puts life and death in perspective, it makes you think. Peace brother ❤
Yes, this was so good and profound.
This is what we whant from a 'reaction-video' A pure, honest and fine reaction - Thanks for that
"Zeit", "Adieu" & "Deutschland" are real Masterpieces/Milestones from Rammstein! I've known & loved the Band since the very beginning! Got to see them live several times...1997 the first time at a festival!
Familiy Values tour? That's when I first saw them in '97.
@@TheErikBallew@M'era Luna Festival, Hildesheim Airport, Germany.
I can't think of any other band, who is big for nearly 30 years and gets some of their best songs out after 20 years or later
My mom died from cancer just a few weeks before this song was released. Helped me through a very dark time
sending you love and light friend.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody yeah having to take care of my parents for such a long time and the covid restrictions on top of that.. took a chunk out of my sanity..
thanks for your words and for your reaction, i feel with you
We are in this together!
Hey man it’s good to cry, fantastic reaction thank you 🙏
Still remember when i watched it the first Time.
Ya this has been fun diving in. I get it dude when people assume something.
Also thanks, I came up with the black background by accident haha
Schäme Dich bitte nicht Deiner Tränen.
Als ich das Video zum ersten Mal gesehen und gehört habe, war ich komplett verliebt und fix und fertig zugleich.
Vielen Dank für Deine berührende Reaction.
Alles Liebe Dir💝
Beautiful song, lovely honest reaction. Showing emotions and supposed weakness is actually a sign of strength.
Thank you so much for sharing your feelings with us. I love your reaction.
Thanks so much Teddy.
The day the song came out my grandma died. This song captured my soul and my anger. She didn't have to die yet...
sending you love friend!
I really appreciate you being here friend! I'm grateful for ya!
❤❤❤ Brother! We who are about to cry, salute you, and your faith ❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘
You heard it in the song, "we live to die", I have seen too many loved ones die, eldest son, wife, mother, my girlfriend, but I got off the floor and carried on somehow. Never give up, there is a world of adventure, beauty and good things out there, live every day as if it were your last.
You’ve got my support!! Best and real reaction videos. Love ya!!
Yo much love dude!
Ya this was a different side. Loved it.
Keep on going man. Zeit is a masterpiece. It reminds us all what is important in live.
Sehr gut Kommentiert. 💙🇩🇪
I call you a Brother...cause you feel the same.
appreciate you friend for sharing! Keep being amazing.
The entire album almost is about loss it feels.
omg my heart goes out to you. I'm on instagram if you want to talk! Seriously. I lost my father and my sister, I get it.
@@TheWolffAndTheMelody Thank you ❤❤
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! For me it turned out to have even more meaning than the clip. At times the pain inside tears me apart, but the feeling that I am not alone, that I am creating something beautiful, keeps the light ahead.
Well said
this , this is the way , i lost my dad jan 16 2021. id like to dedicate this.
I love seeing you showing your emotionslos to wonderful songs. This song always bringst me tears. Its so beautiful. ❤
Such a great song and video. Thank you for you reaction on it. I am going trough a harder time at the moment and it good to know that you are not alone. I had the pleasure to see them life a week a go and they played this song to. It was something special. thanks again.
Please keep your head up friend!
Great reaction my friend. No one can deny the power of Rammstein. I noticed you don't have a playlist for them. Highly recommend doing it so it's easier to find them all when you've done a heap. There's a shit tonne to do and as long as you do them regularly you've got another sub.
Thanks dude! I need to get my playlist in check.
I'm realizing that more and more as I get older!
Beste und ehrlichste Reaktion die ich jeweils gesehen hab RESPEKT ich grüße Dich 🫡
I went to a concert a week ago and as soon as the first notes od Zeit were played I burst into tears and couldn’t do nothing about it. It was very emotional moment for me, kinda unexpected because I am quite new fan of them. I love this song ever since. And not only this one.
Questa canzone e questo video sono assolutamente un'opera d'arte..da piangere..❤
You are SO genuine. Keep it up man
I really appreciate that friend. I want people to know they arn't alone.
Never fails to hit me hard and make me tear up too. Such a powerful song and amazing video. Love what you're doing, thank you for being here too dude.
Thanks for being here friend.
This one means a lot to me too; I travel soon to Germany to meet old (german) friends, and amongst them, we just lost our second mom, an very old friend of my parents, since 1966, died a month ago. Zeit...
Dem Ende treiben wir entgegen
Keine Rast, nur vorwärts streben
Am Ufer winkt Unendlichkeit
Gefangen so im Fluss der
Thanks for this one.
Appreciate you dear friend!
Till's voice is one of the main reasones that Rammstein is my favorite band/music.
Danke für deine Worte. 😢🖤
Amazing band, awesome track…nothing wrong with knowing yourself.
Great reaction!! This IS a masterpiece...keep it real!
We're all moving inexorably to the same place. What's so amazing to me about this song/video is the realization that even if we could run the clock in reverse, it would do nothing to change the end result. The nothingness before, and after, and the perfect moment is the only moment. The one we're living now.
Dude this was one of the greatest videos I've seen in a long time!
what a great and deep reaction. thank you and i wish you all the best
much love friend!
I feel you bro Greetings from Germany ❤
big compliment for your words, I had to be almost 60 years old to realize this and was only at home on the sunny side, but it gave me nothing
My Dad passed away 2019 & my Mum 2022 when i was 28. Last year I was at the Show here in Austria and when they played this Song I cried like a Baby...
I had the same reaction first time I watched this video.
Powerful, evocative, impactful ….you name it.
This band are on another level in my opinion, nobody comes close.
Great reaction!
Rammstein is my all time number one band and it willnever change
Thnx once again for introducing me to yet another masterpiece
i love this song so much i want it to be played at my funeral
this would be a great song for that.
Same..
Thank you very much for your heartfelt reaction..
Rammstein are really unique and always their videos touch something inside you that you kinda forget or take for granted..
All of their albums have that quality
Greetings from Greece 🇬🇷
New sub here ❤
WOW! Thanks so much for the love! Yea I was so surprised by this!
👍❤️ a masterpiece
