£9000 still seems a lot for a 5-year old citigo. A family member paid that for a new one in 2013. Came with a PID, heated seats, foglights and stop/start. Zero road tax and a funky green paint/beige interior combo.

On the back of the affordability theme, I wonder if commenting on ongoing ownership costs would help consumers. Things like how much does it cost to service compared with other cars, reliability comparisons etc.
