This mission has to have one of the toughest tunnel missions in the series... The initial tunnel is even smaller than the tunnel in Sudentor, and you have to pick the correct corridor to go through otherwise you’d crash into the gates (I know Ac3 did it first, but here the window is even tighter). Then you have a dogfight in a tight enclosed space underground, then try to make a tight turn and pull up into the elevator shaft. Apparently we’re too used to normal tunnel missions now, so what did Project Aces do? They made a tunnel mission VERTICALLY. Damn, the first time you pulled all of this of, you feel like a major badass.
That may be true, but remember ace combat 4? I don't know about you, but my plane loved to yaw left or right sometimes, and the plane would pitch, so I'd either plow into the ground or graze the wall. Ace Combat 7 had none of that. AND, we didn't have high g turns, and when you slowed down to make a sharp turn, the tail could hit the ceiling or floor.
Since there's no post-mission briefing, this looks like a perfect opportunity to make your own: "We've succeeded in destroying both drones before they can transmit any flight data they've obtained from Trigger. Both Osea and Erusia have agreed to a ceasefire and are planning to hold peace talks as soon as possible. Both sides have suffered tremendous losses. Not just here, but over the course of the entire war. But thanks to all of your efforts, we've managed to prevent an even greater threat that could've taken the skies away from us. All armed forces from both sides have been ordered to stand down and shift their focus to assisting in the delivery of humanitarian aid from Yuktobania. As for all of you, your respective commands have decided you've been through enough already and have decided not to issue any immediate sorties for the time being. I think I can safely say on behalf of both countries that you have our thanks, especially you, Trigger."
similar to what those ADF-11s with the same names are supposed to do, gather tactical data from Mihaly and Trigger and send it to all of the Grunder Drone Production Facilities across the Usean continent.
Imagine a surprise ace combat 7 dlc where both Trigger and Talisman get a face reveal and you play as Talisman and duel trigger and get to hear both characters voices for the first time. That would be epic

10:04 this is why the music in this game is just a masterpiece The way it all lines up to catch the awe and tension of knowing the drone's is trying to learn to fly like YOU, even though it's already flying like your rival who you struggled to beat before. If it learns to fly like you on top of flying like Mihayl, you know that nobody else will stand a chance against them, and you won't either once they get the numbers and eventually down your squad to get you alone. I can't believe this game was never even NOMINATED for best music

As for both Grimm and Snow, I have a couple of theories: Captain Snow very likely became a flight instructor at the Strangereal equivalent to TOP GUN. As for Hans Grimm? He likely became a test pilot for the OADF, and a very vocal opponent of the concept of unmanned aircraft doing everything.
I like to think Nagase and Blaze got together after the war and had a baby together before Nagase volunteered to go into space. With Blaze raising their child and waiting for his wife’s return home.
Snow died when trying to get Former Presdent Harling away from the space Elevator in mission 3 or 4? just before Trigger gets sent to the penal squadron, I WANT to say Blaze was AWACS LongCaster cause LongCaster says he been waiting for Kei to come home, but i doubt it.
All I learned was that Ace Combat 7 would never have occurred if Osea's government was competent and went after Grunder Industries after the Circum-Pacific War was exposed for what it was.

The MQ101 wasn't an Osean UAV but it seems the Arsenal Bird was built to carry them. The entire Project was a "Trap" created by Belkans within Grunder Industries, but Grunder Industries played them both the fools behind Belka's back.
One of the things that got me about this mission, right? The opening cutscene, on the carrier deck, plays regardless of aircraft, base game or DLC. There was something... Beautiful... About having that scene play when using the F-4 in Mobius 1's dark blue paint scheme.
That tunnel section gave me some serious AC3 flashbacks. But what a fucking campaign, seriously. What a ride. I sit here with a mere 45 minutes to go until the game's properly released, and watching this playthrough's only made me even more excited.

What I wonder is what’ll happen to Seymour and the other Erusean pilots after the war. Sure, for that moment, both countries put their differences aside, but I hardly believe that instantly makes them buddy buddy and completely absolves either country of their actions.

I can`t see any other AC games coming up soon with the story pretty much sums up AC04,ACZ and AC05 and also other AC games i haven`t played, but Thank you Bamco, Great Story, Beautiful Graphic and all the nostalgia. epilouge: deep below the space elevator the burning ruins of the ADF-11 was still burning suddenly a man walked up to the burning wreckage and what he saw is a A.I camera eye glowing red it was the Z.O.E A.I the man pick the eye camera up and from the cameras point of view it cant see the person clearly cause it was glitchy and screwed up and the man balled up his fist and then punched the eye camera really hard and thus the Z.O.E slowly dies as the red glow of the camera dies and shuts down for good the man looked up to the space elevator and he traveled up to the top of the space elevator and with the destroyed Z.O.E technology in his hands he look down to the ocean the man took a deep breath and he throw the Z.O.E into the air which plunched into the ocean so no one will be able to use it as a weapon again * as the camera pans up the man in full view * the man with a scar on his right eye with short black hair opened his eyes and look into the distance and on the back of his jacket was the emblem of a phoenix on it and the man turns out to be scarface one himself as he look at the city he finally spoken his first words about air to air combat: "A dog fight is about two opponents fighting to the death for air superiority................... thats all there is to it. *screen fade to black*

As much as I LOVE the Raptor I fight Ravens with Ravens…with my own Weapon UAVs going up against them as theirs try and go up against me…though (I don’t remember this…but my Xbox clips do) I fought the Ravens with the Hornet once…and managed to clear the mission with 99% damage lol
I have to ask, how are you tracking the enemy with your camera so easily? I usually do it manually with the right stick but it looks so smooth in the video I would think it was automatic with a button hold or something. Figured this might help me in multiplayer lol.
Zaptroxix I had a feeling it was something simple like that lol. On XBox that would translate to Y button I’m sure. Thanks, never was much for those camera actions, always played in Cockpit mode for realism. But in multiplayer I feel like all of that goes out the window anyway. Amazing play through!
well "machine learning with no clue of what your fitness function is" is the enemy, none of this would happen if the AI knew it was allowed to just *not* fight
I love this video(And those old ace combat series playthrough released years ago)! Great skills! However, as an ace combat fan, I'm not sure this story is as good the previous 4, 5 and zero. As a game, it might be not bad. But, as the latest ace combat game, it just lacks some sort of drama, everything is too average compared with its predecessors.
The characters, in general, were pretty static or predictable. Princes got to be cool, the edgy girl was edgy, and silent protag was silent. The best character has to be Count. At first, he's a total jerk who bad mouths Trigger at any chance he gets, but by the end, he grows compassion for his comrades and even follows Trigger through narrow tunnels knowing full well that it could end his life. He takes a missile in the rear for Trigger in that sequence as well. I don't think I truly appreciated his character until it ended. oof im still upset that the girl who gets shot by the orange tailed pilot calls out for Trigger "mage 2" in pure terror before being downed. that was a pretty well done moment.

The ADF-11s are loaded up with the most up to date version of Mihaly's combat data. They are basically clones of Mihaly as a fighter pilot. The memories flashing by are meant to be a creepy way of communicating that.

Why not just shut all the doors to the space elevator tunnel and trap the drone down there? Eventually it would have run out of fuel and crashed. Making a pilot risk his life by flying down a tunnel is just silly.
The drone is the fastest on hijacking the door controls than any human hacker. Also by the time they reach the base of the Space Elevator, if left be, the drone will fly around transmitting data to drone factories around Usea then self destructs. That data contains both Mihaly and Trigger’s flying style that if sent, can make more drones deadlier than Munin and Hugin.
You know what would've made the formation at 19:46 better? If it consisted of all the protagonist pilots throughout the series. Mobius 1, Talisman, Cipher, etc.
That would be silly, those men have all gone their own ways, some maybe also dead for all we know That's the whole point of the Player Aces in Strangereal, they are all mysteries and legends...And that's what they should stay.
Mobius 1(The Grim Reaper), Cypher(Demon Lord of the Round Table), Blaze(Demon of Razgriz), Gryphus 1(Nemesis) and the new Hero Trigger(Hero with the Three Strike) one of the best Ace combat Hero Pilot in the franchise ever. Garuda 1(Hero of Grace Merria)?Not bad but the story of the game sucks.

Both Munin and Hugin were two ravens owned by Odin in Norse Mythology. Fitting names for those two advanced drone fighters.

As much as I LOVE the Raptor I fight Ravens with Ravens…with my own Weapon UAVs going up against them as theirs try and go up against me…though (I don’t remember this…but my Xbox clips do) I fought the Ravens with the Hornet once…and managed to clear the mission with 99% damage lol

I have to ask, how are you tracking the enemy with your camera so easily? I usually do it manually with the right stick but it looks so smooth in the video I would think it was automatic with a button hold or something. Figured this might help me in multiplayer lol.

Thanks, never was much for those camera actions, always played in Cockpit mode for realism. But in multiplayer I feel like all of that goes out the window anyway. Amazing play through!

I love this video(And those old ace combat series playthrough released years ago)! Great skills! However, as an ace combat fan, I'm not sure this story is as good the previous 4, 5 and zero. As a game, it might be not bad. But, as the latest ace combat game, it just lacks some sort of drama, everything is too average compared with its predecessors.
The characters, in general, were pretty static or predictable. Princes got to be cool, the edgy girl was edgy, and silent protag was silent.
The best character has to be Count. At first, he's a total jerk who bad mouths Trigger at any chance he gets, but by the end, he grows compassion for his comrades and even follows Trigger through narrow tunnels knowing full well that it could end his life. He takes a missile in the rear for Trigger in that sequence as well. I don't think I truly appreciated his character until it ended.
oof im still upset that the girl who gets shot by the orange tailed pilot calls out for Trigger "mage 2" in pure terror before being downed. that was a pretty well done moment.

The ADF-11s are loaded up with the most up to date version of Mihaly's combat data. They are basically clones of Mihaly as a fighter pilot. The memories flashing by are meant to be a creepy way of communicating that.

Why not just shut all the doors to the space elevator tunnel and trap the drone down there? Eventually it would have run out of fuel and crashed. Making a pilot risk his life by flying down a tunnel is just silly.
The drone is the fastest on hijacking the door controls than any human hacker. Also by the time they reach the base of the Space Elevator, if left be, the drone will fly around transmitting data to drone factories around Usea then self destructs. That data contains both Mihaly and Trigger’s flying style that if sent, can make more drones deadlier than Munin and Hugin.
