All boss battles in Ace Combat: Joint Assault

- Joint Assault is arguably the most controversial game in the franchise. Weird camera behavior, huge hitboxes and models, repetitive soundtrack, fairly simple story and real world setting. Even though the game officially has "X2" in its name, it bears no resemblance to its predecessor except for the use of assets.
Is Joint Assault bad? Absolutely not. This game is still a classic Ace Combat experience. At the same time, the game has a lot of cool unique features. Like any Ace Combat (except perhaps Assault Horizon) Joint Assault has a soul. Yes, this game is difficult to put on a par with its "Strangereal" brothers, but it is a gem itself.
So enjoy the video with all the bosses of this great game!

You missed Nightwatch B, Spotlight B and Reprisal B which is considered as the cannon progress of the story

Regarding your words about Joint Assault: I think the main problem of Joint Assault is Varcolac squadron and Sulejmani in particular. Mihaly and Markov does looks like legit enemies here. Just like the former ones, you can't beat them before time because of plot reasons, but Sulejmani is even worse than that: He's literally too angry to die. You can't even touch him before shooting down the others. All of this just for his confession to make you feel sad. The game just tells you to pity Sulejmani after his mocking at you before, to pity the character who doesn't have any development. That's some Naruto/Kimetsu no Yaiba/(add any other title with the cliche of a character telling his sad past before dying here) level of writing. Also, he's invincible during his monologues. But finally, > and the true battle begins. The first phase is relatively easy, you have just to fly in circles after him and use the machine gun, but then, his true 'tragic' theme begins to play, and so the true hell of Reprisal comes to average players. Sulejmani uses the Belkan magic (I have no other words to describe how GAF-1 with its design can do PSM) of GAF-1 for instantly turning around to attack you and dodging in case of return fire, leaving the only option to spin into an ankward waltz. And I didn't mention that Typhoon is both agile and cheap to defeat Varcolac in fresh playthrough. Su-37 and F-22 are still options, but it will take a lot of time in free missions to make enough money for purchasing them and SPWs.
But the question still remains without an answer: How to beat Sulejmani in fresh playthrough if you can't afford a plane with SASM (ok, you can, but it's low-tier X-29), Sniper OS or Falken with >? You have to fly low and slow enough for stalling to confuse the AI (he just stars spinning around), fire all missiles you have when Sulejmani gets away for a brief moment and pray for a hit. Repeat x number of times if you missed. Truly one of the most unfair challenges in Ace Combat in general if not the most because I heard about Dragon Killer from the co-op, but not played yet. Another problem here is the AI: it's either brain dead, normal Varcolac (just turning quickly) or Reprisal Sulejmani (look for the text above). ACX has around the same amount of enemy planes, but they're giving more challenge to beat them the further you're going, and difficulty really matters here. In some kind, the game itself is training you, so you could beat the Alect Squadron with XFA-33's (canonically). In Joint Assault... XMMA/XLLA/ODMM/QAAM if you're lasy to turn around and 🦀everyone is gone🦀.
But I'm still thanking you for this video.
TL;DR: Fuck Sulejmani and his GAF-1, the plane with such ruined design by that 'neck' and like-a-train cockpit.

Late, but we did manage to play Co-op AC:JA and reached Dragon Killer, and i can summarize it with two sentences:
"How does this son of a bitch maneuver the A-10 like a fucking GAF-1? CALM THE FUCK DOWN WITH THE MISSILES HOLY FUCK"
To expand, the AI for the Varcolac Squadron at the 2nd phase of Dragon Killer is Sulejmani's final phase, minus the ability to dodge missiles caused by the Belkan witchcraft and wizardy. They turn *really, REALLY* tight, and they just really love to spam missiles when they get a lock on for just one second.

Antares fighting against 3 Orgoi with that plane reminds me of an Autobat campaign boss battle in Transformes the game (Based on the first Micheal Bay film and originally released for the PS2) where Jazz has to take down both Starscream and Blackout along with a giant minion that spawns twice
