- Today on Booze On The Rocks I show you how to make a Blue Dolphin Martini. This is a variation of the Vodka Martini. This variation contains Peach Schnapps and Blue Curacao. Like any Vodka Martini the vodka comes through clear as a bell but its rounded with the orange and peach flavors. Tell me what you think.

BLUE DOLPHIN
1.5 oz/45 ml Vodka
.5 oz/22.5 ml Peach Schnapps
.5 oz/2.55 ml Blue Curacao
Method
1. Add all ingredients to the mixing glass.
2. Stir with ice for 60 seconds or until desired dilution is reached.
3. Pour into Martini glass and enjoy.

Luksusova vodka is one of the best bang-for-your-buck vodkas going. A Polish roommate introduced me to it in uni 25 years ago, and it has been my go to since.

My favorite vodka martini variation is 3 ounces of vodka and wave a bottle of dry vermouth over it 3 times. Garnish with line wedge.
So your a fan of the very dry Martini. What kind of gin do you prefer to use?
@@boozeontherocks Acutally I prefer a vodka martini. Gin, wine/champagne are the only alcoholic beverages I do not drink.

My favorite martini doesn't have a name yet to my knowledge. I made one with Absolut Vodka, Mozart chocolate liquor, lemon juice and fresh raspberries, and holy *** that's great. I'll try this one cause I love those things. Great job !

Straight up Dirty Martini, Grey Goose, Noilly Pratt Vermouth, Olive juice, 3 olives. Have you tried the Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose yet? It's delicious!

I not a fan of peach flavour, so I used Dr McGillicutty vanilla schnapps as a sub. It was very good. Also used Zirkova for the vodka choice. Recently tried a Rolls Royce (is it a Martini?), very tasty and would be my suggestion for a Martini variation.
Hi David, Your variation sounds good. and I will definitely look up the Rolls Royce.
The taste reminds me of the smell of rubbing alcohol. I think it could probably use some simple syrup, or some agave syrup. Blue curaçao drinks look nice but are usually harsh tasting.
I added about 1/2 an oz of Chambord and it was more palatable.
That sounds like a good change to this :)

How come the “Blue Dolphin’ I received, there’re foams on the top layer and also added with pineapple pieces?
Without seeing it it would be hard to tell. Where I made the Blue Dolphin Martini, you may have been given a Blue Dolphin which has the following ingredients,
1/2 oz Malibu Coconut rum
1/2 oz Spiced rum
1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1/2 oz Vodka
1 oz Lemonade
1/2 oz Sprite soda
