Hey, nice video. I just ordered this last night. I use Amain Hobbies UpgradeRC Dirt Claw tires, but they grip so much that I've been doing the rear wheel lift and rolling on turns. This kit should help me out. Anyone with a 1/10 Arrma needs to try out these Dirt Claw tires. They *are* $40 for two, but they are the best damn tires on the planet. Grip for days, great glue job, and the tread is so deep, a half inch of thick tread. These tires are worth every penny. My Arrma branded dboots Fortress MT tires always ripped themselves off the wheel, tearing the rubber to shreds. These are soft rubber tires, so super grippy, but they last longer than the Fortress tires due to the deep and aggressive tread pattern. Thabks for the installation deep dive! 👍🏽👍🏽 Also: 69th "like" Nice 👌🏽
Thanks bro. I’m glad you enjoy the video. I agree with you about the wide kit being a necessity. It’s probably the best investment that I’ve done to my granite
FYI the rear shock guards are meant to be facing forward, not backward. That way they’re protecting the shafts from all the stones and debris that the front tires throw their way (this will be even more important if you ever upgrade to four wheel drive). Also, camber is relative to how perpendicular the wheel is to the ground. Toe is relative to how perpendicular the wheel is to the center line of the vehicle. On rc bashers, a slight negative camber and a slight toe out is the ideal for stability in cornering.
Arrma have a tutorial for every part of the process here on UA-cam. I believe the link to which should be on the bit of paper in the box. Enjoying your enthusiasm for the hobby. I'm pretty new to it all too.👍👊
