Love the practical easy-to-use simplicity of the Isuzu Utes. If you want "full digital" and "heated seats" luxury stuff, buy an SUV or chinese. Utes are made to work 🙂
The dual gloveboxes, top of dash storage, _AND_ dual cupholders on the dash by air vents are all *brilliant* and I would truly kill to have that in my Nissan Frontier. (Especially the dash cup holders- Ford America removed those from our Ranger, but the rest of the world gets them. The US just can't get convenient cupholders apparently.)
yes offroad review highlighting how the rough terrain operates the front wheel spin when rear locker is active...im sure your 4wd enthusiast would appreciate this ;)
Privacy glass isn't "tinted" Its basically black glass that still lets in UV rays and heat.. a lot of people dont realise you can get just as sunburnt as clear glass.. I'm glad they dont as its a pain matching proper tint on the front and a lighter tint on the privacy glass so it looks uniform.. I be getting 20% all round on mine when i pick it up :) And towing with drum brakes: Go look under any prime mover or B double and its all drums bar the steer tyres... The fronts do most of the initial work and if your cooking drums you cant drive. What annoyed me when ordering one was if you wanted the tailgate to work with the central locking on the key it was an optional extra.. who wouldn't want it to lock ??
The new 2024 was just released in Thailand which has a 360 camera system and dvr recorder and new adas system, when or if it comes to Oz will be the 25 model.
Hello, Amreican here, it's unfortunate Isuzu doesn't really sell passenger vehicles in the US anymore, I'd love to buy one of these. Has everything I would need from a truck, or ute as Aussies say, and the price is hard to beat. Sadly we get stuck with these overpriced trucks here in the states and manufacturers show no slowing down at raising prices.
Unfortunately still years behind in tech including the poverty pack ranger. Regarding running costs valve checks at 45000ks, yep similar to plenty of motorbikes but fuel efficiency is outstanding hence me thinking of buying one nxt year.
Just lacking power, just need another 50nm and it would but even more tempting. The pricing on the xterrain drive away is not bad value at all considering the current market
Do you get the chance to ever review the basic poverty pack models? or do the dealers just push the high spec models for you guys to test? It would be good to get a few of the different models and show the differences.
Hey mate what’s your honest thoughts on the ford ranger platinum? I have one on order but kinda tempted by this new BYD shark that’s coming out next year
@@adamcrea3547 had it on order since January. Seeing what you get in these Chinese rivals has me contemplating if I should be spending top dollar or not
@@The_Warden1 yer exactly , my wife has a Haval h6 an haven't had a problem, i just got a dmax x-terrain. didn't wanna spend 80 k on a wild track and it was the same price and the second base model in the ranger.
Why these small narrow Thai Utes don’t have an option of bigger bed like ldv. Maybe bigger cab as well for 4 adults to travel. Isn’t Isuzu and Navara smallest and narrow out of other small narrow Thai Utes like ranger and hilux
I have a 2023 isuzy d max v cross 3.0 turbodiesel and we have been traveling with 4 adults in this ute and it is fine and we have enough space . Plus we towe weight over 3tons and it performs well without all the fancy tech which something like a ford ranger ect . Plus and eadily tuneable engine
Nah, Mitsubishi just achieved that. Problem no one on the design team considered, the time it takes to clean up the vomit from having to approach it in your drive, adds another 15 minutes to your trip. Once away, you just approach, throw up, climb aboard & drive off, haha. 😮😮😮
Most cars have just gone ugly. We started with squared off cars, they then went rounded and curvy aero look and now have chunky squared with some small curvy lines. Also everything has small windows and large doors, but I suppose that's for safety.

the 4jj3 truck enjine sells it for me made to last over 500 000 kms and a good looking truck too
cant wait for the 2024 MUX review :)

Because your "small" cups are bigger than our large cups lol
What about the premature front tyre wear/ Class action ?
Isuzu's plan is to keep ignoring the problem, and continue screwing their customers who are dealing with bump-steer.
Watched car expert review they said its been fixed ?
@@roh5876 that's factually incorrect. Isuzu are offering free fixes for the bump steer issue, and the tire issue has a recall. so what do you want?
@@positivepete4265I hope they honour their words
I just bought a new one. I was given paperwork saying that i am entitled to a free "fix" IF the issue arises

Not just Chinese utes with the cooled seats - my Ssangyong has it, and works beautifully - and cost 26 grand less than this!
My 2019 holden has cooled/heated and massaging front seat/s.. Id never buy CCP tin cans to drive in !
100k kms rip

Congratulations Jacob! 🎉🎉
Very good, the video is very well shot. When can you review Witamats floor mats? I was attracted by their advertising. Thanks, JUDY
Do these come in a ute or just the four door flog-mobile variant?
Power Ash 💪🔥⚡⚡
$70k, no 360 camera, drum brakes in the rear....🤣🤣🤣
Yeah and no AWD option, but that apart it's a pretty good face lift and price.
can't park without one ?
At least it won't be in the shop getting fixed 80% of the time
just get a hilux looks way better
In Philippines we have the 360° camera😊

daddy jacob loves me
It’s ashame that so called work horses and utes are becoming luxury car prices .
There doesn't seem to be a workhorse 4x4 ute left. Bring back the live axle front and back for the basic model and watch them sell.
its only $24k in the phiilippines
off road review pls
Let's pay $8k more than a hilux sr5. They dreaming.. 😅
Just as reliable, rides way better and has a better interior. Hilux isn't what it's hyped up to be.
It would be better if they'd increase the powet by 45kw and torque by 100nm
Any reputable tuner can get lots more power out of these.....

It will be worth less as soon as you drive it out the dealership

lol, he missed his meds that morning....
I dunno. I'd say he's pretty easy on the eyes.
mmm still a bag of shite
Still not as good as a Ford Ranger Wildtrak 😊
Ford Ranger is a low bar to reach.
10+cheaper and with better reliability
As a Isuzu owner I fully agree
Also in the Philippines the D'max has disk brakes all around idk not in Australia?
