You'll never go wrong with Isuzu. That 3.0 4j engine is reliable as always. Power comes with it also (depends if tuned) yet also being efficient in the long run.
Good thing they already have an LSE 4x2 for those who want all the bells and whistles without the 4x4 system. That was my one gripe with the previous model because the top of the line 4x2 was the LSA which didn't have LED headlights and DRLs and the dual zone climate control. Good job Isuzu for bringing the LSE 4x2 here in the Philippines!

Who said not the most powerful, in the specsheet yes but if you release the limiter of 3.0 or remapped, it will eat all it's competitor. See the blog of bionic man on in davao, they used dmax to compete with gtr it's on par on the track

Interesting specs, LS-E 4WD AT is well-spec'd for the price. Not sure with the LS-E 2WD given the steep price, and the LS-A Plus 2WD AT that hits the 1.5M spot with Halogen headlamps and without a 4WD 😯 Still a great upgrade for this New D-Max nevertheless and a lot more competitive vs the previous model.
They should trim out those roof rail, fender flares and cargo spoiler of LS A to compensate DRL and auto climate control. Just like the X rider variant in australia
Still Can’t convert into exceptional sales in the Philippines especially with the high costs in import and its distribution because of the usd/yen impact, it will again be passed onto unsuspecting consumers
I have one and honestly Iknow its a very reliable vehicle but comparing to previous picks ups I had this isuzu brakes long and kind of waggles, it doesnt have stamina when you demand asceleration, not too stable either, so not a fan ,old technology in very key features, in my opinion reliable is not all
That air intake is a bad idea actually it should be hidden behind the fenders this was the issue of new ford rangers althought the new one still got 800mm wading depth like the old one noob drivers would push the water way up on the hood and gets water sucked in the engine. Unlike the old one which was hidden behind the fender no matter how much water you push and water will reach the hood it will still not suck water in the intake.

Quick question, does this new dmax’s ride feel similar to that of Nissan’s Navara? Hindi po ba matagtag?
Good to know the DMAX is catching up with the competition. Thanks for the review! Very helpful. ✌️
Finally, should have bought this before if this was same specs and load. Kudos Isuzu for this upgrade.

Does the LS-A 4x4 Manual Transmission variant have the same specs as the AT variant? Thanks.
the ISUZU Dmax & MITSUBISHI Triton will go head to head in a lot of these segments.
