I wish they were longer. I know you are an excellent driver but please do not think about crashing too much. The more you think about it the more you will crash or get crashed into. The Martini driver over drove his car twice in two consecutive turns. In the second one he collected you because you left him the door open but also you were not looking far ahead after he made his first mistake, you were looking back. Hit your next apex, shut the door and keep it shut within racing fairness and just drive forward and move on. You are great and your team is awesome. Please keep them coming. @@RTuga02 Easy to blame the amateur. He wasn't going that quickly and by the time he got hit from behind he was right at the apex - plenty of time to react for the other driver. Could've waited or forced an overtake on the outside to get a good exit instead of diving and compromising speed for the following straight. Other driver also already outbraked himself on the previous turn so who knows if that didn't happen here again.

    • @RTuga02
      @RTuga02 5 років тому +4

      @@JMartinni yeah, the other driver was also in the wrong, but you can't close the door while doing the turn, you just can't, if you let space open you have to let the other driver go. C'mon, even the race director is telling Michael that, "next time just close the door earlier"; anyone that races knows that you take your position before the turn, and you can't changed it while doing it.

    • @RTuga02
      @RTuga02 5 років тому

      @@JMartinni and about compromising speed...c'mon man, it's racing, who cares if he compromises speed for both, if he comes ahead he's done his job. It's not something for pussys, or for savages. It's somewhere along those lines. :)

      George Quattrovalvole couldn’t Disagree more. About 20 years ago the brand was near financial ruin. The Boxster, then Cayman have given the brand new life in the form of a true mid engine sports car. The SUV lineup has allowed them to generate revenue and profits which were next to impossible 20 years ago, so that they can now invest more in their technology and racing .
      The new Taycan is groundbreaking, and keeping them at the forefront of automotive development.
      The new 911 RSR has very little in common with the old 911’s.
      Your statement is waaay off.

    • @JL-cn1qi
      @JL-cn1qi 5 років тому

      @@carsandchronos You're the one thats way off mate. 911 is Porsche, its the brand face, racing research bed and billboard. The Boxer is the porsche for people who cant really afford one and the SUV is for trophy wifes. Say porsche and everybody thinks 911. The brand made its name and fame with racing, yes the prototypes but very much the GT's aswell. The other cars they make are brilliant cars but the 911 is the beating heart and the soul of the brand.

    • @gountzas
      @gountzas 5 років тому +2

      @@carsandchronos I agree with you but also I don't think I'm "wayyy" off! Porsche's core philosophy and basically how it started as an auto manufacturer is a car with rear engine incorporated for many decades in the shape and name of 911. Now if Porsche ever decides to drop the 911 from its lineup altogether would that be the death of the company that's up to a debate! All I'm saying is that car enthusiasts and porschephiles know the company and its history mainly from the 911. Porsche without 911 (if that ever happens) would still be Porsche by name but not as a brand identity!

    Is this only specific 911 series (lets say, 991 only) or open to 996/7/1? Just curious about the format to be honest.
