I was given a birthday 'gift' of experiencing a Michelin star restaurant 'fine dining' experience in London years ago with the now wife. I won't name the restaurant but it was pretty much this bar the headphones. Multiple course servings of not much at all, a waiter pretentiously explaining what the course was and the particular significance of everything on the plate.. One of the courses was squid ink and something else, I remember feeling nauseous after eating it. Anyhow we had dinner and we enjoyed it but later on the way home from London sat on the train me and the Mrs decided to order a Chinese takeaway because we were so hungry. 😂
