"Oppenheimer" is one of Christopher Nolan's epic masterpieces, and since that people predicted this film to win Best Picture at the 96th Oscars, I would totally agree. And yes, people can finally have a full-on Barbenheimer re-experience at home thanks to the 4K UHD/Blu-ray release of the movie. And both "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer" are cinematic surprises of 2023, hands down.👏🏻💯 Here is my ranking of Christopher Nolan's movies (including "Oppenheimer"): 1. Interstellar (2014) 2. The Dark Knight (2008) 3. Insomnia (2002) 4. Inception (2010) 5. Oppenheimer (2023) 6. Tenet (2020) 7. Dunkirk (2017) 8. The Dark Knight Rises (2012) 9. Batman Begins (2005) 10. Memento (2001) 11. The Prestige (2006) 12. Following (1998)
Me Personally, "Oppenheimer" was better then "Barbie" even though I didn't see "Barbie and probably never will. I just bought the DVD of "Oppenheimer at my local Walmart just this passed Saturday along with "Indiana Jones & The Dial Of Destiny".
I haven’t seen Barbie yet although I do have it. Haven’t seen Oppenheimer yet either and rarely go to the theater anymore but as a fan of biopics and huge fan of Nolan, I highly regret not getting out to see it on the big screen. I’m sure it was an incredible spectacle. Count me in please. Thanks Tyler jambou
Hi Tyler. Excellent review. I have the UK HMV 3-disc steelbook. It is exactly the same design as the one you reviewed; same PN (3000096595), and also has 'SYNCOPY' printed twice. We don't get Digital Copies any more it would seem. Your video makes the lettering look white, while the lettering on mine is a more discrete browny-orange that is more akin to the primary picture colouring. While the disc art is primarily the same for the UK version, Europe place lots of Age Rating labels all over the artwork, so the UK art then looks appalling. You get the UK, Scandinavian, German, Ireland, French rating labels all over the disc, no aesthetic care taken at all. I wouldn't say the Bluray art looks sun-bleached (I guess you mean faded?) on the UK, but neither does the image in your video to me. Obviously the whole theme of the artwork is 'explosion brown-orange' throughout the design. The European discs don't even have the film name 'Oppenheimer' printed on them. The film won't be to everyone's taste; lots of cutting backwards and forwards in the time line (at least the Director switched between colour and B-and-W to identify this switch), so it may seem disjointed to some. Maybe reading up on the background of Robert Oppenheimer (e.g. wiki...) before watching the film will put more context into what is going on in the first half hour of the film, possibly making it an easier watch? He spent some time at Cambridge University, and so I'll check out the Pubs he may have frequented :O) I've eaten in the Pub that Francis Crick and James Watson used to frequent when undertaking their research of DNA (The Eagle on Benet's Street); it serves good food and excellent real quality beer (you Americans take note :O). Sorry for the long waffle ...
Still need to check this one out, count me in! @Coolnilk
Congrats, you’ve won the digital copy! I’ll send an Instagram message with the code.

Now I Am Become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds. Best movie of 2023 imo

Great steelbook
Was going to get this steelbook but it's sold out so I'll wait for a restock if ever happens.
I bet Gruv might have it restocked, since it is Universal’s store and Best Buy is getting rid of physical media sales. But who knows
Cillian Murphy is underrated as an actor @maximumpowerman
🤯
Definitely Better than Barbie in terms of Content..
