      I am in the firm belief that Tricia is a racist. It’s simply IMO as Tricia is openly hostile towards our victim and is placing all of the blame onto the victim and Tricia openly refusing to direct the blame onto the offender instead of the victim and is actively seeking to have the victim removed due to her own lack of respect as Trish is racist. Now as Tricia is being recorded which is obviously caring as she is being exposed.

      If you read the list of offenses on the sheet they gave to the passenger, she didn't commit ANY of the listed offenses. The closest thing that they could have accused her of was harassment. The passenger wasn't verbally abusive and she moved, which is what the flight attendant told her to do. I've never flown on WestJet. Now I never will. This flight attendant was totally out of control and the other flight who told the passenger that there would be police waiting obviously didn't investigate, or sufficiently investigate, what happened.

      Don't immediately believe one side of the story just because she is video taping. I saw this story before, and I find it weird that the lady recording the video edited the video with so many jump cuts. I can tell because you hear during the whole monologuing the sound of the background noise being interrupted. What's even weirder is that it's made to look like a monolog, as if the flight attendant was saying nothing through all that. You can also tell she was skipping what the flight attendant was going to say.
      Also, I want to say this, the flight attendant already said she walked in after the guy said what the lady filming said what he said. Which means she didn't hear what the guy said at all. The lady filming admitted she was repeating a various amount of times what he said. Imagine walking in the middle of a verbal fight and you only hear a woman angrily being loud and saying "you told me to f### off". Since lets be real, you don't say the same thing multiple times in a calm, non-angry voice.
      Anyway all I'm saying is it's best to control your anger in public. All she had to do was report the guy or ask for another seat. I honestly never believe someone is fully innocent when they instead of trying disengage from a bad situation, instead just egg it on in the worst ways possible.

    That flight attendant video brought back some SERIOUSLY bad memories for me. When i was a kid, I was a victim of bullying for a LONG TIME. The worst thing? The teachers and supervisors at my school only saw my reactions to the bullying, me fighting back, screaming yelling at the bullies. This meant that *I* was the one getting punished, and the bullies got off scott-freaking free. And this went on FOR YEARS. No matter how hard my parents fought against it, it just. never. stopped! i tried ignoring the bullies, but they were relentless. I feel for the OP in this video!

      @zanzaboonda 4 дні тому +3

      Yeah, this was not handled well. I understand not knowing the situation when you get there and not knowing who's telling the truth, but you briefly (because time is a huge issue when boarding) get both sides, ask both if they feel things are settled, and if so, you move on. Having to separate them is not the immediate go to unless she said she wasn't comfortable sitting there anymore. Then you offer that as an option. There's nothing wrong with repeating what the man said. I can understand not wanting to have it repeated multiple times for the benefit of other passengers, but it never would have gotten to that point if she hadn't contributed to the escalation. The passenger filming was very clearly calm and not being belligerent. It can get to a point where the situation can become distracting and genuinely needs to stop for security purposes, but none of this should have happened to begin with. If they couldn't act like adults sitting next to each other, then the aggressor (or both parties, if needed) should be removed. But there are so many ways to handle this long before it gets to this point. 🤦

    That Flight Attendant one pissed me off. We had an 8 hour delay due to a mechanical issue where they treated us more like a burden than stranded passengers. After a gate change and them having to find a whole new crew, we finally took off only to land again. My best friend got kicked off the flight for expressing her frustration out loud (not to anyone in particular) that we were going back after reaching the 12 hour mark of being at the Toronto airport. There seriously needs to be a policy that flight attendants can't kick people off flights without at least one other crew member assessing the situation to confirm if it's the right move. It's absolutely ridiculous that pilots (AND escalations teams) just believe the flight attendant over passengers 100% of the time. That's just not fair.

    • @zanzaboonda
      @zanzaboonda 4 дні тому +3

      Unfortunately, I have to disagree. Yes, there will be some bad actors and grumpy people that take advantage of this, but this is rare. As a former FA, I can tell you that safety and security are paramount. They come before anything else. If someone is going to be an issue throughout the fight and cause a potential distraction, that's a problem. I never had issues with people, but one of my fellow FAs asked to have someone removed once. She was sitting in the back, and I didn't see what happened. But she was really nice and I trusted her. The captain, however, didn't want to deal with having him removed and intensely pressured us to let him stay. We relented. And that man was rude, aggressive, and threatening the entire flight. I wound up switching positions with her because she was young, and I felt like I could handle him better. The pilot later apologized. FAs and pilots can't be everywhere all at once. We have our own positions and tasks to do. You have to be able to trust the people you work with. (I can't speak for your situation because I wasn't there.)

      @@zanzaboonda Of course safety is paramount, but kicking people off flights because you don't like what they said isn't a safety issue. That's just an abuse of power, which often coincides bias. No one is defending a passenger throwing a temper tantrum or refusing to follow instructions. This wasn't a safety issue. If FAs aren't punished for abuse of power, then the problem is systemic. I've seen this abuse too many times based on race/ethnicity. Every profession has a-holes. I'm triggered by the airplane thing too. When I was a kid, my mom dropped me off at an after school activity. When it was over, she wasn't there, but the neighbors were there picking up their kids (our families were pretty close) and they said "come on, we're taking you home." This was not unusual, so I went with them. 30 minutes later my mom comes home to see me playing in our yard with the neighbor kids, and I GOT IN TROUBLE. I had to write "I will not go home with strangers" or some crap like 500 times. Never been able to forgive that one.

      In our state health inspections are routinely surprise inspections. However, when the health inspectors were in the area, they generally booked a room at our hotel, so we would generally know in advance. Additionally, the health inspectors hated interacting with our General Manager, so they would call in advance to see if he would be on premise for the inspection.

    • @Just1Nora
      @Just1Nora 5 днів тому

      It doesn't matter if they started it, you shouldn't have finished it! They didn't even touch you or do anything to you! You just need to learn to control your temper. Why can't you just pretend they're not there and control yourself? See? They aren't bothered if you do it to them, so why should you be bothered if they do it to you? (That one especially made no friggin sense.) *tease tease tease tease tease* (slap) Don't hit your sibling! "But they wouldn't leave me alone!" Just don't hit your sibling! I don't care how much they were bothering you! You know that they're going to pester you; why can't you just ignore them? Your anger needs work.
      I was the younger sibling, and my older sibling was rarely scolded for pushing my buttons. I never did enough to actually hurt them either, I'd slap their arm or body once, or shove them, and as we grew, I found that I could chase them down and sit on them on the couch. Just pin them down for a few moments while they slapped my back (which of course was justified due to the pinning), or I'd pin them in the corner or against the wall. I didn't squash or hurt them. All I did was nonviolently resist. Guess what? Still got in trouble for it! 🙄 Oh, and since my mother was so absolutely terrified of even anticipated conflict, she made ME make my sibling do things! "Well, I can't make them do anything!" You set that precedent yourself, lady. You be the friggin parent. If they don't listen, it's because you never MADE THEM. You let them grow up knowing that their actions had no consequences, and punishment meant nothing, because wouldn't stop them. Also, you couldn't emotionally manipulate them, but it worked so well on me that the whole family did it.
      When you grow up and realize that you shouldn't be putting up with the abuse and you put your foot down, then suddenly you're aggressive, mean, or a bully. No, I just finally stood up to my bullies and refuse to be used and manipulated anymore. It's funny how standing up to abusive family is seen so much worse than perpetually abusing a family member.
      (Hugs) I hope you can keep healing. It's hard work, but absolutely worth it. ❤
      Oh, as grown-ass adults I called out my sibling for being ableist, exclusionary, and hurtful, and then *I* "burned the bridge." If I did it was because they poured the gasoline and handed me a lit match. I was once again blamed for their bad behavior.
      I'm in therapy. I've changed, I'm healing.
      No matter how much we heal, there's always a papercut that burns when we see others subjected to the same treatment. The injustice and frustration imprint on you.

    CHARLOTTE I FEEL YOUR PAIN. When I was maybe 7, I went to a little Montessori school where we all had to eat the school lunch, and because they're hippies, they made it as healthy as possible, but also lost their chef, so some random ladies were trying to make stuff that's all vegetables and whole grains, no salt or sugar allowed. It was gross. They made us take a portion of each dish and then eat it all. I could not choke down some slimy broccoli one day, try as I might, so I get held back from recess until I finished it. I finally held my nose and pretty much swallowed it whole, and went to find the teacher. She asked me if I really had finished it, and some older boys who had just come into the room for their lunch turned around and said, No, she threw it in the trash, we saw her! I had no idea who these people were or why they would do this. So instead of getting to go out to recess, I spent the next hour in the office getting scolded for lying and wasting food and got notes made to my file, and I had to write an apology letter to the teacher for lying. This was over 30 years ago. TRAUMA IS TRAUMA.

    The flight attendant story hits very close to home. A few months ago I traveled with Delta with my wife and daughter and while I am Puerto Rican I Look very white. The only reason I mentioned this is because the flight attendant was African-American and from the first moment I spoke to her you could see she hated me. After seeing her move no less than 10 people from their seats because the plane has lots of empty seats and they asked if they could I proceeded to ask her it’s my wife could sit beside me and my daughter because the seat was empty. She instantly told me that she needed to stay where she was and there was nothing that could be done and when I just asked how was it then OK to move all those other people she quickly went into if I keep this going she would have me off of the plane. I reported the situation after I landed but I am sure they never did anything and being with my two-year-old daughter I was not in the headspace to be fighting with anyone. And yes everybody that she moved and was joking around with all those other passengers were African-American.

      Another take. The coworker that offered to exchange their gift for the pecan pie found out about the person who had OPs name baking a pecan pie, and sent the anonymous email because they wanted the pie.

    Yes Charlotte trigger unlocked. My brother was relentless one time and I finally yelled at the top of my lungs, "Bug Off!" and my mom thought I swore and grounded me. There was no way she was ever going to believe I actually said "Bug" despite my efforts to convince her and my brother wasn't about to vouch for me.

    I went to HR when I was a cake decorator to report the manager dropped a tray of donuts on the floor, picked them back up onto the rack & then put them out for sale in a case. Another day prior, another woman was doing donuts & dropped a tray she was glazing when it slipped from her hands, clearly she threw them away. The manager forced her to pull them out of the trash & re glaze them to serve. I had another time when I let her know a new tub of pudding I just pulled from the cooler & opened, was covered in mold. She told me to scrape the mold off the top. I just stared at her. When she was not looking, I dumped it out into the garbage, not just throw the tub away, I poured it out so there was no way to get it back out & I would NEVER pull food from a garbage & serve it to a freaking mouse even. After all these events, after telling HR, the HR woman looked at me & sighed. She then said how disappointed she was in me. ME!?? I quit right then & there. They knew someone in the health inspector place so they always knew when they were coming to check things out. She would say to clean this or that & if she wore a hairnet that day, we knew someone was coming. This woman refused to wear a hairnet but if you forgot to put one on in the morning, before you even started doing anything around food, she would yell at you to put one on. She went out for multiple smoke breaks but never washed her hands when she came back & she immediately touched food when she came in, she never wore gloves. But they were disappointed in ME for complaining about her habits. She worked there up until the store closed down then probably transferred to another location.

    6:01 Yall people out here with allergies out here giving a heck of a lot more grace than I would. I would have seriously framed the whole thing as if she tried to murder me, cops and all. At least in the US if you can prove intent (meaning you can prove you told her about you allergy, and that she understood it) it's attempted murder.

    Charlotte, i need you to know something.
    I'm a 38 year old woman, single mom of two beautiful boys, and the last 4-5 years I've lost every interest in being anything other than a mom. Gaining weight, no make up, sweatpants and t-shirts, ect.
    You dont put frosting on a turd and call it a cake, you know.
    I came across your channel, and although it may not be entirely you who, but also the girls and women in your videos and your followers in the chat, i was like; F no, am i frogging dead? No, I'm worth so much more than this.
    I'm now sticking to my diet, putting on a full face of make up everyday (except sundays). I'm treating myself with cute lingerie and expensive skincare products.
    I'm not saying that you necessarily did this alone, but you and your videos are absolutely contributing to keep my mind straight in that regard.
    I love your attitude ❤
    And to all the lovely people who read this (and also to those who dont) you are amazing, dont ever forget that.

      Good on you mum! Your kids will reap the benefits of a happier, self confident and more outgoing mother and so will you. Taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your kids. I’m so happy for you that you’ve decided to make a change for yourself and feel better about yourself, you deserve it. ❤
      Your kiddies will be winners because they have this new mum who knows her worth and that will pass down to them. Your kids owe might notice my spelling of mum, it’s because I’m Aussie and that’s how we spell it, however, it means the same wonderful thing worldwide. ❤

    • @lilik7323
      @lilik7323 4 дні тому +2

      Business next door was owned by the same person as cafe, if I remember correctly. That's why they shared a walk-in.
      Also I'm pretty sure he showed the state of restaurant (fe: food laying on top of gerbage bins) and that cafe used milk after it's "best by" date, which is big food business no-no. However the last part I can confuse with other whisleblower...
      Definitly he showed that cafe almost accidentally served bad milk, before he realised that fridge was broken.

      Honestly there are whistle-blower laws to protect employees but companies like to work around it by bringing up mistakes made in the past that were previously forgiven.

    13:09 this happens to my daughter often. She is the “new kid” and the teacher and principal both literally said “they wouldn’t do that” when she told them that the other girls were picking on her and she just stood up for herself. These girls kick her under the table, draw mean pictures of her, and constantly provoke her. Your story reminded me of this. Kids can be so mean. 😢💔
