Epic hike/climb , the scenery was stunning, well done getting to the top, not sure I would have kept going, you’re a lot fitter than I am , thanks for the vid , loved it.
*_Age is only a number!_* Just have to take things at your own pace, and you'll still be able to explore all the amazing places like this! We are yet to do this hike, but thanks to you guys it's now been added to the list. Cheers guys, stay safe 👍👍
Absolutely amazing views, and it's good to know what hikes not to go on! Definitely worth you doing that walk so we could see the views ... Well I hope it was. Don't blame you for going down on your butt. Good work. A beautiful rainbow reward too. 🤗🤗
Again wow! What breathtaking, sublime (and many other adjectives) views. Thanks again fot putting in that gargantuan effort and sharing it with us couch potatos. You are legends.
Wow. That was an awesome hike. Well done guys. I do some hiking myself up here in Norway, and it is so inspiring to watch your videos. Thanks a lot for sharing, and a Merry Christmas to you guys :)
Oh thanks so much for watching Leif. We have both visited Norway before, and would love to do some hiking when we come back there. Merry Christmas to you too.
I love this!!! This show you guys are human!! So proud you made it back down. I am so looking forward to my adventures starting. gotta set up my van and wait for my rental lease to expire next year,
Thanks Vicki! I remember that countdown to the end of my lease, almost three years ago now! It feels so good to finally get on the road. The planning and preparation stage can be a lot of fun though!
Absolutely stunning guy's thanks for taking us along. I'm so proud of you both for even attempting to do the hike, let alone actually doing it. By following you two we get to see so much of Australia's beautiful hikes that we wouldn't actually see. 😊😊 I'd be crying too Sue but it would be before I'd even started, well done😊😊 And dear Nigel your ability at putting words together in a sentence that makes sense after turning 60 is ground breaking 😂😂 Great content as always guy's, your our favourite channel to watch, love you both. Happy travels & especially safe travels at this crazy time of year out there on the roads😊😊 Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, Kay & Chris 🥰🥰
I used walking poles for the first time at Kings Canyon and I wouldn’t do a climb/walk without them, also a back pac for jackets etc. I’m 70 and just do what I can with endangering myself or others. Love watching your adventures, thanks for sharing.
They are great aren’t they? I’ll admit, we totally underestimated this hike, and I’m not sure my poles would have helped as a lot of it I was in my butt anyway! Luckily Nigel had the backpack to carry everything.
Well done, you are braver than I am. I might have got up there when I was younger and that's where I would hae stayed. Beautiful views from the top, thanks for showing us.
Hi nice to meet you both. You are never too old to travel. Well done for doing the hike. Hikes can be very dangerous and challenging. We really enjoyed your video. All the best Chelsea and Mike
@thevigarfeeling we love hiking! We don’t have many hiking specific videos, but often incorporate hikes into our regular weekly content. We are about to head to Tasmania and we have a lot of hikes planned there. Croatia is beautiful isn’t it? We look forward to being back in Europe next year.
That was awesome, super well done. My daughter and I attempted it a few years ago. We didn't realise it was going to be so hard, so abandoned the climb, which was disappointing as we really wanted to see the cave. But better safe than sorry, we just did not have the confidence to keep going.
I did the Bluff Knoll track when I was 19, then again in rain and mist when I was 45, then again when I was 71. In the meantime I had torn the cartilage in my right knee. The last downward journey was extremely painful despite big “improvements” in the track.
@@nigelandsueadventures I’m 56, waiting for a new knee and absolutely love chasing gold and camping when I can. Wife can’t wait to travel overseas and I can’t wait to explore this great country some more. Done two central Oz drives but loads more on the list. I really enjoy your trips . Very grounded and normal lol. If we ever cross paths it’s my shout.
Well done on the epic climb.👍 No Sue, you’re never too old, age is just a number! 😂
Thanks guys! I keep trying to remind myself that!!
Snakes solve everything. Well done guys, that was epic. You're never too old, you just need to have the courage to do it in the first place.
That’s it, and getting over those self-doubts. And you’re right, snakes in a hike are the best. The jelly ones, not real ones!!
Epic hike/climb , the scenery was stunning, well done getting to the top, not sure I would have kept going, you’re a lot fitter than I am , thanks for the vid , loved it.
Glad you liked it! Thanks so much for watching. I know I’ve got to keep working on my fitness.
WOW that was some hell of a climb , well done , lucky that rain in the distance did not move in . Merry Christmas for Pete and Janet
Yeah we were very glad we didn’t get rain, it would have been scary up there in the wet. Merry Christmas to you both too.

💯 true. We try to live by that, even if sometimes our knees disagree.
You guys will love the Grampians.

Definitely a good one to have ticked off the list! I’m hoping I don’t rip those pants!
Such a joy listening to you both explaining and exploring your way through hikes, walks and cooking is wonderful ❤
Thanks so much Helene! We are in Tassie right now and doing plenty of tough hikes. Looking forward to creating all those videos for you to enjoy too.
Again wow! What breathtaking, sublime (and many other adjectives) views. Thanks again fot putting in that gargantuan effort and sharing it with us couch potatos. You are legends.
Thanks David! This was definitely a big effort for me, so glad to have done it though.
Bloody Awesome effort, loved it, even though it was damn scary. Thanks for doing this one, so I don't have to, ever! lol
Haha, glad to be of service Lee! Thanks for watching 😊
Whoa that looked terrifying through my screen, can’t imagine what it was like in real life. Well done, bet you won’t do that one again 😂
I’m not sure to be honest Robyn, sometimes it’s easier the second time. Thanks for watching!
Well done, I was nearly crying with you, excellent video 💕
Awww thank you! I’m happy to say there have been no tears on the hikes in Tassie, except maybe tears of joy at the amazing scenery!
Looked terrifying! But stunning! Well done and thanks for sharing
Thanks so much for watching Helen. It was a bit scary, and going down is always worse!
Wow. What an achievement.
Thanks Deb, I think our excitement was obvious at the top, but as always going down is harder for me.

Thanks so much Pauline!! I’m so glad I made it up there!

Hi Chelsea and Mike, thanks so much , lovely to meet you too. Where are you watching from?
@@nigelandsueadventures we are English but current in Croatia traveling in our motorhome. 🚍
Do you have any more hikes planned ?

Its definitely not for the faint hearted! I'm really not that sure how I managed it!
Happy Christmas and a wonderful New year full of Nigel dives to you and your loved ones 😊🙏🎄🎅🏻
Same to you guys Sandy and Tim and a big hug for Pablo 🧡🧡
Yikes! That was a climb! Such gorgeous views, though.
Definitely worth it for the views. Not sure I’d do it again though!

That’s awesome John. I’m impressed at you doing Bluff Knoll at 71. Well done!
Well done you were up in the sky's epic episode
Thanks so much Shaun! It was an epic adventure 💥
Well done, both of you. I very much enjoy your videos. David from Rolleston NZ.
Cheers David! Glad you’re enjoying the show.
👏👏👍well done!
Grazie!! Thanks for watching. 🧡
Awesome love it Sue you sound like me the swearing comes out when I'm stressed from climbing well done 👍😊
I edited most of it out too!
Nah, you’re not too old (you’re in our age bracket!)One of our favorites in the Grampians.
Thanks Bronwyn, definitely up there as one of my favourites too, though I’m not sure I’d do it again in a hurry!!
Stunning views but it's not the hike so much as the heights that would have gotten to me. Good on you both!
Thanks Roberta, there were definitely a few moment left when the edge was too close!
You did great, sue I'm proud of you as I wouldn't of gone up there .
Thank you so much Susan. I seriously thought about turning back, moreso than any other hike I’ve done in the last few years. Felt good afterwards!
Bahahaha, I have completely forgotten about this bloody road 😅😅
Looks like you guys have a decent car, it took me ages in my small KIa lol
I think it would take ages in any car! The National park roads in Australia are the worst!!
I love the Grampians
We do too! We had such a great week there.
Grampians can be quite trying for any age group!!
Absolutely! Definitely not simple hiking there. We loved our stay. Thanks for watching.
So one backpack for two people? Energy requires food and water even on ‘short’ trips.
Absolutely 👍 we normally carry one each, with snacks water and camera gear
Being a chopper pilot you would have views like that all the time
Oh the views are even better from the air.
I should have said pole as I like to have one hand free.
I’ve never tried just using one. I’m going hiking today and might try that.
Age is just a number, unless you want to your body for something.
Absolutely! Adventure has NO Age Limit!!
Err NO!
Thanks mate! We don’t really have any plans to quit, even if I felt like quitting on that climb.
