I think I like the pillow Idea better lol. I need to get pavers for mine, I used to use them on the old bed slingers but haven't done it to my P1S yet. I also never used the packing foam underneath so I will need to do that! I knew the pavers made a difference but I think the thick packing foam made an even bigger difference. You should try to 3D print some TPU feet to see how they compare to the pavers.
This is exactly what Im going to do when my P1S arrives (ordered it yesterday). Is that a portable table? I would be concerned the table is not sturdy enough to run a printer on it. Thanks for sharing.
It is a portable table, and you are probably right. It was ok before adding the pavers (one for the P1S and one for the A1). Now I notice that the table is sagging some and I'll need to add some supports.
All the problem is the table, this not solve the problem of sound of P1S, only solves the sound with not stable/ noisy tables (i look for real solution the printer sound isolation).
Set it on the floor and check the noise by the way. A thin hollow table Is like a guitar body. Some other guy put a cement block under his printer I think.
I did this with me ender 3 on the second floor of my house - out the put on the floor. The entire house turned into a guitar body. It was so loud on the first floor.

The pillows do create a unique look! Hahah!, The tpu feet are a good idea :)

Do you have a muffler for the rear intake fan? It makes a notice difference.
I don't. I'll look into that!
Is the A1 much quieter?
Definitely. The A1 is a very quiet machine!
Part of me was hoping this was satire, and part was hoping it wasnt
Some amount of quieting can be accomplished... but it's still definitely the noisiest of my four printers.
