I'm Fran Raya, a female singer/songwriter from the UK. I supported Eric Clapton on his Scandinavian tour performing my own songs. It was so memorable and amazing. He is such a great person, musician, and performer. So very proud to have been one of his supporting acts. Love this song.

While I was writing poem about a long lost love, this wonderful piece of music came by on the radio. It was like magic: The beautiful memories and this exquisite song by Eric Clapton, the man with the golden touch on his guitar. I love this song...!
beautiful, amazing, moving, incredible, give you chills and make you cry..there's not enough words to describe it. the tone of his guitar and his voice and the emotion he puts into it is well, like I said, not enough words....he'll alway be my sweet baby :-)
I wonder who will take over leadership for this wonderful type of guitar music when Eric Clapton retires? Perhaps John Mayer or someone who is as dedicated to excellent and real music as is Clapton.
This song has a resemblance much like "claudia's theme" from the eastwood masterpiece Unforgiven. Both songs hit me deep in a spot ,and have a powerful effect on me.
I came back to share with you; I went to London to see him at Albert Hall, the equivalent of seeing ELVIS in Vegas. It was just for the weekend, that’s how much I love 💕 him. Oh and I lucked out & got one of his guitar pics. Just a 77 yr old grandmother.😘🎸🎵
considering im listening to this song after a breakup im surprised im not bawling my eyes out its just plain so beautiful there's no way i cant listent to it
On July 30, 1999, Eric Clapton put together a stellar band and invited a few friends--Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige, and David Sanborn--to perform a one-night-only concert in New York City's Madison Square Garden as a benefit for Clapton's Crossroads Centre at Antigua.
super bass skills as well, just wish EC would resort to more melodic/full fingerpicking from time to time to demonstrate what prowess is possible with a slow blues tempo and artfull and economical phrasing.
No one plumbs the depths of sorrow, heartbreak and lost love like Clapton. It's fitting that George Harrison asked to play on While My Guitar Weeps.
Very good guitarist profesional singer Eric Clapton....
