Great job, I have the same rack, something I found it's to drill drain holes at the bottom of the bar attach to frame in both sides at the back, when I took my rack off there was water accumulated in the bar, I guess a flawl in the design. But thank you for making this video.
Have had the same one and basket for about 3 years. Very handy for hauling trim and 2x4's from home depot, camping gear, my Kayaks, etc. I don't like that it makes the soft top hard to put down. Can take it off by removing the top cross bars and pulling out the back. Have a bow-less softop on my list. The thumb screws do suck.
I got this one too. only for a 4-door hubby fab to fit mine however found out in the install we had to front driver side door attachments now waiting to receive the left. Then we can finish the install. Thanks for sharing i watched it when I was in the market. came across my feed while looking to see if anyone else had the same problem I did.
ill let you know. i have an 89 with a snorkel kit and i have the rack in the box still..... i intend on getting to it this weekend hopefully....but who knows, maybe today later on.

I had the same issue when I went to diss assemble mine water accumulated inside the back bumper upright curve attachment .

I have a 01 tj I'm about to fit 1 of these .I have the Bowles soft top and putting up and down is easy with this same wrack.
Did you have any issues lining up the bolts for the rear mounts?
How difficult was the installation? Any tips? Does it affect the visibility on the through corners of the window?Thanks for the video?
How much weight will it hold? There are mirrors that go where the door hinge is so you can go without doors.

I think the roof rack looks great on a TJ.
Did you have to do anything to get those 7” lights on the front pillars to clear the rack. Was there enough space or did it barely fit ?

Stock mirrors for 97-01 TJs. They changed in 02 to a more "inflated" look, for better aerodynamics. I definitely prefer the 97-01 mirrors.
You complain about the cross bars taking away the open felling. How do expect to have a roof rack with the soft top and not have crossbars???
