- In this video, we install a Garvin Wilderness Rack on my TJ. The issue going into installing a roof rack was with the Morryde tire carrier. I knew I would have to modify a roof rack to make it work which is why I found one used. If you have a Morryde tire carrier and want to install a similar roof rack this is one way to make them work together.

Mark, is there anyway of replicating that bracket? There’s a cheap roof rack same as yours, but I too have the exo-gate spare tire carrier. TIA.
Oh yea, that bracket could be made with a simple piece of angle iron.

Looks good. How is the wind noise? I'm about to pull the trigger on getting one.
I dont even notice it! I thought the wind noise would be really loud, but it isnt at all. I highly recommend it! I use it all the time now.

Thank you! Yes it will hold a roof top tent! In fact I may go that route I the future. These racks are very strong.
If I remember correctly it is a 32” light bar. I am really starting to enjoy the setup of this jeep. It’s current forum makes adventuring so much more enjoyable.
