I’m assuming that if you are feeling air going through that injector then that injector is leaking. It should be closed until power is added and it opens.
Hey brother- last year I was throwing a code for bad injector on the left and through a series of events ended replacing a sensor, both injectors, the fuel pump, the fuel regulator, and spark plugs before it was fixed... I did not just fire the parts cannon either. It was a bit of a painful slog but she has run strong this whole past year under hobby farm use (firewood, tow behind bush hog, fence repair etc). Can you share any other info about injector spray patterns, left V’s right, cleaning tips besides what you showed etc ? Nothing big just still feel a little in the dark around injectors...
Actually, A friend told me about the injectors. He helps me out at the shop now and then. I couldn't give you the answer your looking for. But if you research it like he did, you might find the answer. Sorry I wasn't more help.
