For example, i am a cinematographer and i get shit like ''why is the video editing taking so long, can't you just do it in a day?'' all the time and i can't really be mad about it but the thing i can do is show them and teach them which task takes the most amount of time. It might be common sense for you and your friends but not everybody grew up around movie sets and editing software. And even if it is common sense it's still good to show your appreciation where it's needed.
