I feel as though the English speaking audience here is missing the point of the song.
This song isn't actually about the story of the heros catching the thef, that's just the wacky story given as context for the real purpose of teaching how some words in English are similar in how they are spoken but have different meanings to one another that can be found in the context of a sentence. The story told is simply there to provide the context needed to illustrate that point by splicing in English words that are given definitions by their context, this song is essentially an English grammar and vocabulary lesson in a context more easily understood than rote memorization of vocabulary words that one would usually fall into as a student studying a second language. We as native English speakers take this for granted since it's tought to us at a young age but in places like Japan this wouldn't likely come up until high school.
There, some context for a song about context, really didn't think I would've had to explain that but here we are.

Yeah I noticed some of that I didn't know that was the point of the song though, my favourite was "He is a literary monster" then "He is literally a monster" in japanese the r and l sound similar due their phonology

Manbo-P's songs never fail to make you wonder what's going on in their minds. But the songs are so wonderful I doubt anyone really minds.
Edit, actually, all these people were trying to stop a theif at the end of the song so leading up to that point meant they had to do something out of line and a little weird.
The rich lady in that hotel had no respect for the perverted furniture, the 5 year old fell through the floor from literature (I'm not sure what that represents)

This song reminds me of Sweet Float Apartment where a Gumi's neighbors have a weird side to them but in this case the people in this video in the video minus Miku are bad people who look respectful but are secretly heros doing crimes..
