Jumping the power pins with the I/O shield is hilarious to me
Radeon cards like RX 580 usually have dual BIOS, you switch between them with small lever somewhere on the graphics card. Sometimes one of the BIOSes get corrupted so you could switch to another, just in case. Also, don't test GPU on the same board it came with. Weird conflicts sometimes arise, therefore it is better to have dedicated working test configuration.

Hope the seller doesn't feel too bad that he got a bit roasted on a popular tech youtuber channel. Sure no names were named, but still. Anyways, really liked the content, I was really amazed how much glass shards came out of that thing. I am wondering if the case was so damaged it couldn't be repaired. I mean you guys probably have a business/sponsor relationship with Lian Li and could get a replacement glass side panel.
You’re probably right about the glass but they probably had to wait and didn’t want to. Otherwise. If you’re a handy guy like myself. Buy a big sheet of fine mesh screen. 3/4 magnetic tape. Cut it to size and line the edge with the tape. Problem solved and it has better airflow. Using this on my nzxt h510 elite front panel

Could you install it alongside another card or integrated to try reflashing?
I been had that Gcard or very similar anyway, its a shiet cooler.
BUT i justslapped it with NZXT AIO cooler on it and good to go.
I went with Asus Ryuo 120, depends what mobo you are planning, but make sure it has water pump compatible pinns.
Another way is to manually slide the fans to lower if you get the post.
Now that was what i can tell a rain of glass.

I know this is a year old video, but the jumpers for the power button are not always in the same place. I have seen about 3 different configs on non pre-builts.

Still crazy i managed to sell an Rx 580 8GB Nitro+ OC for $500 a year ago. Felt scummy for it, but i never tried to OC or mine on it.
just update the vbios on the gpu to fix it.

I don't buy systems from Ebay, but do buy parts. I have 2 AM4 motherboards that were listed as AS-IS and they both work.... I just need the Ryzen Processors for them.... when buying on Ebay, always Buy Now and if you do buy As-Is, get the lowest price. its always a gamble!
I have the exact same monitor. Its a 24" screen with 1ms response time an a refresh rate of 165 via display port. And It has 2 HDMI ports. It's on the cheaper side of monitors, but I love the quilty on the screen. It's well worth the money. Well at least n my opinion. Just saying

Not always You can see damage on card... Often is a bad memory or damaged gpu itself 🤷 try diagnose gpu vrams
I once got a Trade in PC (I build and sell computers) That was thrown out of a second floor apartment lol. some parts survive, other werent so lucky. Note If you near a Micro Center most of them sell that tempered glass for like 15$
That fact that y'all market yourselves as "professional" PC builders, and yet you either didn't attempt to re-flash the bios before calling the card "dead", or you did attempt the bios flash and chose not to disclose that in the video, is rather disappointing....

whats the best CPU for a 'A320M-A PRO' motherboard?
You could probably get a Ryzen 5 1600 for real cheap, depends on your use case. But Ryzen 3 1200, Ryzen 3 1300x, Ryzen 5 1400 and Ryzen 5 1600 are your best options. If you want lower end...Athlon 200g or ge, Athlon 3000g, X4 950 and the A10/A12 cpus for AM4 are also "OK".

That cpu is gonna bottle neck any modern GPU, I'd recommend a 1660 super/ti but I'd also recommend a cpu upgrade if you're gonna play modern games.
