Nvidia keynote will be a middle aged man in a leather jacket saying letters 'AI' about three hundred times.
He's well older than middle age.
That and horribly cringe jokes "how are you doing fellow kids ?" style, that don't land, ever
@@ChaosPootato "But can it run Crysis? That's a joke only GAMERS will understand"
@@thelastrhino2581 One year, now that I checked.
I hope someone runs an analysis of what percent will "AI" be said
Having the paw patrol music play over that literal war machine was the most unhinged thing I've witnessed and somehow made it more insane.
my feelings exactly. The Terminator stuff was dark, but the Paw Patrol music made it even darker - somewhat unexpectedly.
lol
ACAB includes Paw Patrol
They should of put a mini fridge on the back of it and show how it can arrive when called 😏
The main reason I am subscribed to your channel is that you don't scream the news at me.
Yeah i hurry up and stop vids of ppl who's first thing they do is yell at me HELLO like im a 100 miles away from my screen and cant hear them
i stop listening to them expecting you eating your breakfast and yelling the tech news
I had to quit gamers nexus because side it’s more or less just cable news now. Outrage and grand standing.
Yeah that Paw patrol song in the end got me hooked 😂.
Me too I am a calm video consumer
Ah yes... the FlammenwerferPanzerhund. I remember them from Wolfenstein. This is fine...
Ahh Ja, Es wefen die Flammen und hunds die Panzeren.

MSI released 147 "different" RTX 40-series cards is the most insane part in this episode....
More flavors than Baskin 31 Robbins 🤪.
Most where wifu cards. 😂
@@aberkaewho’s that?
@ThBlueSalamander Ice cream shop I use to manage back in the day 22 years ago. lol
@@aberkae really?
147 40xx MSI models... What the hell?
probably mostly regional models and stuff
I wonder why…might have something to do with sales…
@@Druac Well, 147 is a tad... excessive? I mean, it's not like NVidia would let MSI go wild, as it used to in the old days. What do we have? 4050, 4060, 4070, 4080 and 4090? That's 5 basic GPU chips. Double that to the SUPER variant, and ad 5 more for the Ti ones. And I'm being generous, since not every basic model has SUPER and Ti counterparts. We are at 15 models.
Ok, we are now at 15 possibilities. Now, make one basic, one medium, one high and another one premium. That's 4 x 15 = 60 models. Even with these grossly oversampled numbers (not every variant will have the 4 tiers, not every tier will have standard, Ti and SUPER), we are still at 60 models.
Imagine the logistics of 147 models...
@@sysbofh There are slightly oc versions and white or green versions of a lot of cards which are otherwise the same so all they do is change the plastic color or a slight tweak to the vbios. Also a lot of the stuff just uses the same coolers and a cost down pcb on different cards, like a gaming x using a suprim pcb but with some of the power stages removed or the 4080, 4080 super and 4090 models all using the same cooler. Looking on pcpartpicker shows asus with more models of 40 series (in the US) than msi has. Also, the 4050 doesn't exist yet, at least not in desktop.
I'm not really interested in MSI right now.
Rumor has it, Paul delivers the best Tec h News!
That's not a rumor, that's a fact!
@@maikodb 100% agree and being British, I also love that Paul takes every opportunity to insert dripping sarcasm
It is the way.
Me: Sells a tonne of copper, buys flame throwing robot dog.
I have worked for an electrical distributor for over two decades. Copper has always been a commodity and we sell a lot of it in the form of wire you use to connect your PC to the power station. Our purchasing managers have had to buy and sell it like Wall Street wizards in order for the company not to take a soaking on margins if prices suddenly fall. And when there is a shortage everyone suffers as prices sky rocket. That's why we keep the cut ends (pieces to short to install in a building, etc.) for times like that, strip them of insulation, and sell the bulk copper recovered back to the suppliers for a tidy profit that offsets the high price. It's like a side business within the overall distributor business.
6:12 "speaking of things you shouldn't be into"
Oops, Too late!
ooooooh! now he tells me!
Videos from the garage studio just feels right!
"Carefully presented performance numbers."
lmfao
That spot with the flamethrower is downright scary.
You can legally own it in the US, only two states impose some limitations. It cost 9.5K, not cheap but not even super expensive for the crazy doomer, so you could find quite few of them roaming around. What a time to be unalived in flames
It is... but at the same time I can see a few applications for it that are quite valuable. Lighting backfires to stop wildfire's spreading, dealing with murder hornet nests.
Your editor is the best in the business!
Thanks for the video Joe & Paul!
@ 3:50 My God they turned the Mona Lisa into a karen
See AI is evil!
It's only Karen when it asks to see the manager.

I believe the major reason ppl believe that the 5090 (maybe 80 too) will be all but made available at Computex, is that if the specs of the new data center chips are released, we basically know the specs of the GPUs, so might as well launch 'em anyways.
"launch" "made available"
"Y'all got any more of the speculation?"
unhingedly underrated comment !
9:18
I can't believe I laughed at that one
LOL that Jensen and Sam joke was great. I know you are joking but I am not so sure. I was thinking the same thing when I saw that picture.
5:10 - MSi: "We were on a break!!!!!"
Dat family tree 😮
yeah, id find another job.. r.i.p EK
The NDAs by EK are literally meaningless as they initially, themselves, broke contract by failing in payment times to employees. "Were gonna sue you for us not paying you!" We need to end lage corporations. They destroy everything.
Awww but they're too big to fail!
😂😂
Don't at me Imma joking..
Loved the dig at the media. Steve did what real journalists use to do.
techtechpotato did an interesting piece on steve's "journalism" when he blind-sided LTT last year - citing actual real journalists... totally distrust GN now
Hey man I love your news segments, I look forward to them every week
EKs NDAs are void in the U.S. for several reasons. If you don’t pay any obligation to the employee, such as overtime, health benefits, severance or even regular pay, the NDA is void. An NDA must cover a single, specific subject. EKs NDA is a blanket one. Not legal. Next reason, NDAs cannot have any nondispargement clauses. EKs NDAs include nondisparagement clauses. Not legal. NDAs cannot be used to prevent people from reporting crimes. The nonpayment of wages is a crime and the taxes EK dodged are a crime as well. There are other restrictions on NDAs but they don’t appear to apply in this instance. Suffice it to say EK can get stuffed.
The captions at the beginning 😂😂😂 Stimulating intro Music 😮😂😂
Thank you Paul. I was just wondering about the next gen Ryzens and then your video dropped. 👍
sick edit Joe. Much enjoyed it
Nice one Paul. Solid Wrapup. You missed the chance to go all Kent Brockman (or is it Broadman... :P ) and speak to the BBQ Robo dog, with a line about ' I for one, welcome our new AI driven overlords' But Paw Patrol is still a win
Love the updates - like always!
10:43 you guys are brilliant.
Thanks for making me Sunday morning. Good vibes, man, lol ^_^

I hate rumors as well myself, speculation is just pointless
Damn that copper joke was smooth
Its always informative and fun to watch your videos!
Love Downtown Brown. Really miss living in Cali. Cant find any Lost Coast beers out here in Texas. Great White was always my favorite.
Awesomesauce video Paul and Joe!! There's nothing like the Tech News, breakfast biscuits and Mountain Dew Zero to start my birthday (51) off right.
I should have mentioned it sooner, Joe. Maybe I could have been included in that family tree. 😅😂
Caffeinator out.
As the thumb suggested, can't wait for the RTX 5090 Yeezy Super.
The hand in backpocket 😄
6:12 got the lol so thumbs up on this one
The staccato water-cooling references had me chuckling!
The copper pun was fabulous and relevant, what with being such a current topic.
It's a high voltage story. 😚
And I had thought Vegeta had started that 9,000 joke.
He did.
Copper also quite useful in Energy infrastructure. [Bussing, Wiring, etc...]
Thanks Paul
jajaja Hi Paul, love the terminator reference. You should see the new Darpa Toys with AI, just to save soliders lives (at least ours). This year it's been a great combination of AI and Fallout series.
You missed using a Columbo clip on your "One more thing" phrase. I know it's not a bad week when you're just drinking beer.
I need the flamethrower dog segment as a short. 😂😂
Anyone here still missing EVGA cards for the market?
I am, as it was the only brand of GPU I would buy. I bet EVGA is also missing their market share of GPU's and that sweet cash they could be making. I wonder how they are doing overall?
@@jbrou123 If Nvida had just handed over the chips and said "here ya go. Do whatever you want. Here's our MSRP, try and stay within that" and let EVGA go to town with them if they wanted to, they'd still be making cards.
Instead it was "our way, or the high way"
And very little overhead to charge more.
I recently picked up a 3080, non FTW, and it's a goddamn beast.
Nah, because my cards are Radeon.
Debating if should buy a 5080 before upgrading the rest of my aging rig which has an AMD 3700X and 3070 or wait and upgrade all other components and then upgrade GPU when stock of 5000 series will be more attainable
10nm and 5nm still have heavy breakin and conditioning then the chip will overclock itself when ready the only way to do it without damaging parts
Broadwell GPU?
I love tech news! I look forward to it every week! You’re the best Paul!
I love having my sunday morning beer and watching tech news before i start my chores for the day thank you paul and thank you Paul's mom.
UK Sunday Morn just wouldn't be the same without a bit of Paul, omnomnoms.
#PaulsHardware and Chat: ---- Mr. Paul: ---- I'm about to purchase a new computer and assemble it myself. --- Should I avoid Intel 13th and 14th gen? --- Thank you for the advice. Subbed.
Depends on what model you're looking at. Most of the issues have been on the I9 and I7 chips. If you're looking at a high end gaming chip, I'd get the 7800x3d.
@@robertmajors1737 That's what i need: advice. Thank you. -- I am thinking of getting an Nvidia 4080. Does that limit what kind of processor i can get to Intel only?
No reason to avoid them. Just do some research on your motherboard settings so that you can set it to the baseline performance since some MB manufacturers like to default to overclocking the CPU which is the apparent cause of the instability.
@@nanoflower1 Tyty! - Which motherboard would you suggest? I have been researching and am very lost in a sea of options.
@@j.a.velarde5901 I'm not familiar enough with all of the new options. I can say that I'm a long time user of MSI motherboards and have never had issues with them. They also don't seem to overclock the cpu by default so that would be a point in their favor.
Another Sunday, another tech news. Always ALWAYS a good way to kick off the end of the weekend :).
I cannot overstate how much better my morning is after experiencing Paul's dry writing and delivery. Perfection.
I love when joe add his reaction while he is editing Paul videos when he talk to him 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No Snapdragon X Elite story?
10:12 literally just spit out my coffee, dammit Paul!
Is that the cover of Spiderman 33 behind Joe?
It's all fun and games until you wake up in the middle of the night and the flame robot dog is standing on the end of your bed staring at you
I will be very surprised if EK goes through with their planned CompuTech attendance.
Paul, absolutely masterful level of puns in the EK section. Bravo
I like my MSI 7900xtx it has been a great card and my all MSI build also
"It's just something about how it conducts itself" .....I groaned so hard at that one that I felt physical discomfort. Nice one.
Please restock the merch store. Alot of your extra fat sizes that I wear are out of stock. Another good news update. Thanks.
Whenever Paul drops a new Tech News video, I click, I watch, I like. Always good stuff.
As always, you deliver the best of tech news Paul! Gonna shimmy over to the store now to actually buy something this time!
I want 2 see ryzen 9800 X3D tests
The biggest issue with copper is where they get it from. We need other solutions fast.
The Intel overclocking by default case is very bad for the market, because the launch reviews were done on the default settings. Now it turned out that many chips can't sustain that level of overclocking, so a lot of the numbers on Intel CPUs performance are artificially inflated. Intel doesn't mind turning off the overclock now, because all the old reviews show the high figures they wanted.
Lost Coast 🍻
Good taste bro 🤜🤛🏾
Love the chill, dad, vibes of this news. Love Steve and other tech outlets, but damn do I prefer my news with a relax tone. Domo arigato, mister Paul & Co
that itch gets em every time
Hearing news on at least nVidia has been getting into supporting linux more. Hope that is true 👍
"you can have my flame throwing robot dog when you pry it from my still smoldering charred fingers!"
2:55 Over 9000!!! 😄
Now it makes a lot more sense why msi went with intel in the msi flaw. 😮makes me wonder if they lost a deal with amd or if they really parted ways on good terms. There had to be more to it than what we see
Maybe Intel gave them a better deal? MSI still makes great products for AMD, like their motherboards (I just bought an b650 edge wifi for my new build and it's great). They self harmed themselves with the radeon 6000 series and not giving it enough attention by just slapping their rtx coolers on them and having horrible temperatures as results. Did same thing with 7000 series, so it's on them; plus if you buy AMD people first look at their 1st party board partners (Sapphire, XFX, Powercolor and AsRock). MSI is a big name and they could have quickly gotten market share, if they had made good products, but they missed that opportunity.
Intel gave MSI a special deal on the MTL APU to showcase it in a handheld, which looks like a backfire fail.
MSI had a few scandals a few years ago, so who knows, but perhaps most likely AMD simply prioritised bigger customers due to high demand.
There's been leaks about Intel angering ODM/OEM over delays and poor performance.
Love how MSI released like 150 cards for the 40 series but somehow basically all of em are still generic, "fits with everything" aesthetics instead of being unique and legitimately visually interesting (unique colours, cross branding with media franchises, etc)
News based on tech?
Totally agree, there is no reason to be afraid of AI... Robot-Dog with flame thrower, Nvidia bringing unprecedented compute power to OpenAI to push forward general artificial intelligence... No worries for sure.. Oh Skynet is next by the way ;-)
About the time the 50 Series debuts? I'll be in a position to consider that 4070Ti Super everyone was gushing about as the star jewel of the 40 Series.
I said the same thing about 30xx and 40xx, but if you look at prices now, 4070ti is about the same price as I paid for 3070ti.
One can at least be happy Ryzen 8000 came to desktop unlike 6000 lol.
Then a benefit with G series being only 8000 instead of 7000 is the F variants will be clear they have the same limits where with recent 5000 CPUs one would think they were like the X variant and not the G variant.
But AMD could also use different numbers like 7650G instead of 8700G.
nVidia will announce another evolution of ray-tracing and DLSS that takes those one step closer to what nVidia initially promised they'd be all the way back in 2018.
Thank you. Your stunning rendition of the paw patrol theme should qualify as fair use...
10:04 gave me a good laugh 🤣. Cheers Paul!
didnt have paul singing paw patrol on my bingo card for today, need to up my game

I loved the last news story 😅
"Something about the way it conducts itself"
BOOOOOO **throws tomato**
You are officially my favorite tech news guy.
I hope they name the flamethrowing dog robot the Hell Hound.
The price of copper will have almost 0 impact of the price of electronics since the amount of copper in electronics is very small......... Electrical wires though! Those have a LOT more copper in them - and that will effect the price of those.
You should sell an album of 'Paul Sings Saturday Morning Cartoon Songs' on the merch store.
3:46 Broadwell??? you mean Blackwell. SMH
You should have made a Bluey joke with Chilli, about the flame throwing dog. As she's a Red Heeler, and you will damn heel to her!
