Another cool video! Hey maybe you or some of the viewers can help me with dashcam mirrors. When you reach the age that you need reading glasses, the dashcam mirror starts to get blurry. I can't be the onlyone with the problem.. so is there any way to fix this? Did anyone come up with a lense in front of the mirror or something? Can't use those reading glasses while driving you know 😂
I can’t figure out how to tuck my wires because I have the obd kit but the big block prohibits me from tucking it anywhere. It sits even with the door and would be smashed if I don’t leave it hanging. But then it blocks my pedals
Hey brotha, I have a 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. What do you recommend in installing hardwire kit or ODB? I want the live feature. Your videos are extremely helpful.

Ah I haven't tested the hardwire kit for the Nexar but their OBD2 adapter was designed so it provides the same benefits (live view etc) than their hardwire kit, so I think it's just going to come down to a matter of personal touch in terms of which one you want to use to power the dash cam, Cheers!
@@AlexAutoFun by any chance do you know about the dash cams brand Vantrue. Do any offer the live view. Like a ring cam. Where you can view it from your cell and see what is currently happening around your car?

I have not tested their dash cams so I can't comment on their performance but they are not cloud connected dash cams (live view, live notifications, etc is a very rare option) The only other dash cam I tested that can be connected to the cloud is this one ua-cam.com/video/BAEH4f2ulEs/v-deo.html Cheers!@@danielpollockjr.1714

Ok, question for you, I’m reading all the reviews and Reddit post about this thing and it “Requires” pay $9.99 month for activate and use it. Does it require to activate the subscription or can I just use it without subscription?

Ah most companies are using the term AI for pretty much anything that has software on it, more of a marketing term (since AI is a trending topic and not fully understood by some people, it's easy to throw a term like AI claiming it has it when it may just be basic software programming). I do think over time, the definition of AI will be super clear and very common where a larger audience could very quickly say ah yes that has AI and that does not (similar to how we can say a dash cam is HD vs 4K without difficulty) Cheers!

Hi J! This would depend on the OBD2 adapter that is being used. The one I use (not with the Nexar) has low voltage protection (to reduce the possibility of draining the car's battery) Here is my video showing how it works ua-cam.com/video/YEklm9V6xYE/v-deo.html Cheers!

Hi Andy! What you have is likely a used Nexar dash cam that was purchased originally for fleet or they shipped out the wrong dash cam (if you bought it new from Nexar or from one of it's approved distributors). I would recommend contacting your seller or Nexar for tech support, likely the dash cam will have to be returned. Cheers!

I highly recommend the OD2 port adapter for continuous power. The cigarette lighter doesn't keep the device powered overnight.
