It seems like they changed in the last 4 months. This video looks a lot like the Nexar classic where the Nexar one uses the Nexar connect now they said. It’s kinda disappointing because my first dashcam used Nexar classic. I feel like the new app lost a LOT of features
Hi P! Yeah looking at their site it shows Nexar Connect for LTE Dash Cams. The App used on this video is called Nexar. There is another App as you mentioned called Nexar Classic which the site says it's used by the Nexar Pro, Beam, NEXC1, NEXC2. So it's likely that the "Nexar" App either evolved or got renamed "Nexar Classic" (I have not tested Classic so I can't say with 100% certainty that Classic is the old app called "Nexar"). But it is disappointing to hear that your are finding less functionality on the new App. Hopefully it will improve over time. Cheers!
Question from an older video...On a 2022 Ford Edge....what would be a good spot for the BAT and ACC? Looking online that diagram looks like mirrors are also combined with door modules and this vehicle has no cigar accessory unless you think I would need to test the spare spots that are not used

My Nexar one seems to only be recording when I’m streaming the live feed to my phone. Any idea on how to have it record every drive without having to stream it?

I run different ones on my cars so what I usually tell people looking for the right dash cam for them is to start by picking the style of dash cam (Mirror or classic stick). Then how many cameras does it need to have (1, 2 or 3), in your case you need at least Front and Cabin. Now that you have narrowed your selections, consider how much you want to spend on one, that will narrow your choices even further. Then consider any special features you are looking for such as 360° video, Side Camera, Wi-Fi, Parking monitor without hardwire, cloud support, High Frame Rate. Finally you would want to compare video quality (I have several dashcam reviews on my channel under the playlist "dashcams" if you like to compare). Cheers!
I just installed this dash cam to my windshield and I don’t know why I can’t connect to the Nexar app on my phone, I try everything turning the WiFi on and off and is not connected, the light is not stable, Any help from idea thanks

I show that process at the 4:30 mark, the App will also let you know if it cannot connect to the dash cam as shown on the video and prompt to you disconnect (Forget) your current Wifi so it can connect to the dash cam. And if you still can't connect, I would recommend contacting Nexar for tech support, they may be able to walk you thru some troubleshooting steps. And please keep us posted on your findings. Cheers!

I wouldn't buy the Nexar. Myself and MANY people have had issues with nexar dashcams. I'd recommend installing an exterior camera on your house or getting a 3 chanel dash camera. 3 channels record out the front, the interior cabin, as well as out the rear, making it more likely to capture someone coming up to/walking away from your vehicle.
I myself, as well as MANY people, have had major issues with Nexar. I wouldn't recommend it from personal experience.

An external camera for your house may be helpful as well like a ring or nest or something
