Just so you guys know, that is Jason Gerken of the band Shiner playing the drums here. Bryan was in and out of the band occasionally during this era. He is doing a good job filling out some amazingly huge shoes here. RIP Bryan. The finest drummer in my book
Truly one of the best songs of the 90's, regardless of genre. Hum was one of my faves back when I was just getting into the whole rock scene, but they were never as big as they should have been.
Hum was the very first band i ever saw play live (opening for Bush in like 1995), i noticed some empty seats in the front row and i took them. I didn't really know who they were. They had this hard blue light on them, when they opened with this song. I was so blown away. So many years and shows later, they are still one of the top shows I have ever seen. These guys rock so much, I am still a fan over 20 years later. It is like this uncontainable energy just waiting to get out when they play.
Love this band. Seen them with The Toadies and Bush in 95 or 96 maybe. This song has one of the best breakdowns in my opinion. Also one of the best guitar tones. Great great song!
Que gran vesion en vivo!!. Hum es una banda que tuve en muchas reuniones en los 90s acompañando reuniones hermosas. Hoy pocos la recuerdan. Gracias por subirla al administrador de esta cuenta.
Thanks for posting man! I was there at the Neighborhood theatre and really enjoyed the show. I decided to see if anyone posted anything from the show today and saw a bunch of videos posted by you... Thanks!
Is that Tim on the second guitar? With the lighting it is hard to tell and also the beard. I know the drummer is new but I had not heard about any other replacements. Edit - I found a video from a month after this show and that is Tim Lash with a beard, thanks for the vid dude.
thank you so much for posting this! it's always good to see them performing! :) I did an acoustic cover of this song check it out on my channel :) cheers

I LOVE that you featured the cymbal choke. Everybody who pays attention knows what I'm talking about.
Thats my favorite part during the breakdown.
YES!
That he could do it with both hands?!? I'm a drummer, and have never tried that. R.I. P legend!
100%.
@@rokkkrinn2793I don’t think that was Bryan on drums this time
4:04 So subtle and perhaps one of the best cymbal chokes of the 90's

Such an under appreciated band of that era. So good.
