i thought i was going to be dissapointed since this is a reunion show 15ish years after their time but damn these guys are still kicking so much ass, even matt pulled off the scream i love them so much
The scream here gives me CHILLS. And hearing the crowd cheer in the background after, gives me GOOSEBUMPS. Seeing them live is on my bucket list if they ever come back ;(
It was a very strange show. Not a lot of fanfare, and free to all to just stop by and check it out in the middle of the afternoon (check out the Ms. Lazarus video for an example). No bar. No light show. Just rock.
@@samyboy7489 What do you expect in such a venue? I's way too big, in broad daylight etc. You need to pack this crowd (or any crowd) in a smaller venue where it's pitch dark and blast them away.
Never had the pleasure of seeing them live. Talbott has such a mumbly singing voice that I'm quite surprised that it sounds good live. So many vocalista have fake studio voices. Well done.
@estek16 I don't know about you, but I did all my stage diving, crowd surfing, and moshing in my teens and early 20's. While I had fun doing it, I also missed out on a lot of great performances because I was so busy doing that, and not watching the shows. If I had a chance to watch Hum live again, I'd be all ears this time. With that said, I wouldn't take back one moment of doing those things during concerts back then. Kids don't get to do it these days because too many mommies sued.
God there are so many fedoras jesus christ. I feel like this is one of those shows where if anyone did anything more than bob their head a bunch of people with three children each would get really angry with you.
This band is amazing and sooo underrated this crowd don't know good sounds and vibrations I guess I'd be flippin burgers at the Krusty Crab that's how down is be all the way down in the bottom of the sea
Such a great song but is sad seeing these bands from the 90's playing live. Its just kinda depressing seeing all those 30 somethings standing around like statues in the crowd. Absolutely no energy at all from the crowd. Most of those ppl are probably 32-37 years old. They should show a little more enthusiasm. My generation is LAME! The music was great but my peers are lifeless. You'd think that the crowd was filled with 70 year old women.
I was at this show and while they played well, if you were up close the sound was a bit weird. Not the usual volume and power--given the nature of the huge amphitheater also, the best sound was probably further back a bit.
I remember reading some while ago that the original members of HUM found the drummer as he was practicing Rush songs. They said, "We want him." So they got him.
LET ME BREATHE NOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh………………………….!
New HUM album 10 years later, check it out, support the band www.humbandofficial.com/ (it's great, worth the wait)
amazing band, amazing sound, amazing everything. RIP Bryan
One of my favorite drummers guy was crazy
@@grimabsolssbm same here. I would put on the headphones and play along to HUM songs, "trying" to get all his parts right. He was a wicked drummer
Hum fact: The intro is just the verse progression... but backwards. Sounds awesome on the album.
Probably a bit late to reply, but you can get pretty close with a reverse delay set with really short repeats.
Love your Pearl Jam Stickman image. 🤘

Well good news. They are back with a brand new album
Eyenbrows I listened to it! Absolutely amazing, especially for a band that hasn’t released any new music for over two decades! They sound young!
I love his screams at the end. They sound awesome!
Ashesh Chatterjee yeah, he nailed them :')
15 years later and he killed.
Man I still get chills at the end of this song.... Awesome band! Really glad they are still around playing
I'm convinced the bass player is also the sunny day real estate bassist
he’s busy with foo fighters
Lame crowd just waiting for Stars
I know right

Luv this song, an intense blast from the past, good to see they kept their act together - very tight !!!
Even 1080p can project the full awesomeness of this...

Phenomenal song.
So great. RIP Bryan St. Pere. Notice how freakin hard he hit that snare, right at 3:54. I can't believe it didn't break.
4:28 Jesus Matt, save some voice for the rest of the show
These guys rip, Mr. Bryan St. Pere hits like no other. Godspeed brother, see you soon.
Pure badassness.
Goddamn this always been my favorite song of theirs. Its soooo fuckin good

How did I not go to this show.
i wants an album from hum (new one) maybe even an ep would satisfy me lol
Well your wish is coming true :D (3 years later)
Ok but actually now
Holly fuck I got goosebumps when yelled at the end
If your drugs are kicking in, this is NOT Rush. That was just an intro song. This band is Hum. But you have to scream it as loud as you can.
Playing the feedback solo live is so gangster
Dope song
Fuckin camera turns away right at my favorite part of the song....shheesshh
I saw the future. I knew if I made that move right then, I would get a wonderful comment some 10 years later! :)

What? Nice!
0:35 Aphex Twin?
They like Rush?! Like I didn’t had enough reasons to like them!
I remember reading some while ago that the original members of HUM found the drummer as he was practicing Rush songs. They said, "We want him." So they got him.
badfuckingass.
Johnny Depp at 0:34 !! :D
Haha. He actually looks like electronic musician Aphex Twin!
Don't blame them, blame the seats.
Hold me up tight....
