When I was in High School jazz band, I arranged One Night in Neo Kobe City for our band but sadly never finished it. Thank you for finally making my 20yo dream come true! This was the #1 song I practiced on sax my whole life because Snatcher on Sega CD is my favorite video game of all time. For those who haven't played it, just know that no video game since has ever come close to living up from a storytelling, old school cinematography, and acting standpoint. Anyway, I just wanted to mention that half way through the sax solo i about burst into tears because hearing this timeless song in such an incredibly talented new light was worth the 20 year wait. Bravo!
btw you guys should record this in a studio! I'm surprised the trombone and trumpet didn't do the E,E,D.. at 1:50. Next song maybe perform this track from Policenauts, the sister game to Snatcher - ua-cam.com/video/8v2JMqI8grM/v-deo.html (skip to 1:36)
I'll give you cinematography and story telling, but... 'Well, well, you're the new JUNKER, aren't you?' The voice acting is rather silly, let's be honest! I do love Random's performance, though.
This is your best version of this - you can tell everyone is really into this, looking at each other for all the background riffs, and Robbie looking at the band like "you ready for this?"
If i was there, to see it live, I would've beem convulsing on the floor. I would've died on the floor, in front of everyone. What an amazing performance.
Love the wait these guys smile after each significant lead or note being played. The fact they really enjoy playing this song makes it even more so special than the fact it's a tribute to a legendary game.
And I thought The Snatcher was some kind of personal fetish! Love this and the fact this video is from last year. So there are still people remembering Kojima's masterpiece... Super Cool performance!
Suuuuuper groovy!!! I had never heard of this game, but after hearing this cover, I looked it up, and I have to say, it looks awesome! I’m hoping to be able to find an emulator or something to play it
It's all about personal tastes as a matter of fact however 4 me along with Rocky franchise n' Cowboy Bebop, Snatcher soundtrack is an absolute masterpiece ☆☆☆☆☆ Thanq :-)
I really dig the flourishes and how well the sound comes together, but the timing never seems to come together perfectly, and the brass seems rather discordant at times. Not a terrible cover by any means.

I am SO EXCITED to see Snatcher getting the love it deserves!!!
Just wish Konami would do the same tbh.

I'm playing the MSX version right now. I really love it. Owning the Sega CD version is definitely a pipedream now, though.
One of the best pieces of video game music ever composed. Guys played it nice & tight, should be proud
Shout out to the sax guy omg what a treat to see

Gods, this seems like it's a hard ass song to play.
The original was made on synth equipment of the early 90's... equally as hard.
It really is the model of synth equipment at the time was pushed to its limits and omg did it pump out a beast
Damn this is grooving
I'll have to check out this game
Do it ! It's amazing.
If i was there, to see it live,
I would've beem convulsing on the floor. I would've died on the floor, in front of everyone.
What an amazing performance.
Good play! I love Snacher. from japan.

Hideo Kojima would approve of this !
Crazy good! Why has barely anyone heard of this?! This deserves so much more recognition. esp that solo!
Outstanding interpretation!
Saxophones are just so great! Haven't played the game but love this intro song.
Man this game had such an amazing soundtrack...that was fantastic, gentlemen. I wish I was there to experience it and buy you some drinks after!

The power of fans is unmatched. I don't even want to know how less of a shit konami gives about this song lol. AMAZING PERFORMANCE!
Awesome cover!! This take really would fit in King Of Fighters or Street Fighter
Or mahvel baby
😱
Sounds like some cyberpunks who fight against injustice and corruption every day of their lives.
It would be great if you guys covered JB Harold Murder Club
Sounds like Plastic Love at the very start.

Chica de Humo
Snake... SNAKE... SNAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEE!
Games need more smooth jazz god dammit
Good played and arrangment but very bad audio live mix!
The tempo is wrong, and the modern add ons dont let the song really transmitt that 80' vibe
I don't agree at all, for me, this is totally snappin'.
Good try....
