I love how each of these “How To” videos is Nik unabashedly flexing how good of a songwriter he is.
Well he is really good undoubtedly but to be fair it's easier when you're taking heavy inspiration
He can literally write any metal bands song and sometimes those bands can't even write their songs anymore 😂

@@raedewav that’s kind of how music has evolved in general though. People taking heavy inspiration from each other with the oddball placemarker who really switches up the game.
Old school metalcore is just the greatest sound in all of music to me. The melodies gives me goosebumps, and the chugs give my neck severe soreness from nonstop headbanging.

I also am biased and feel that metal core is the most superior genre possible. Someone could turn Beethoven or Hans Zimmer into metal core because of the melodic ambience. It's beautiful and powerful.

I think this is the best one yet. This was so well put together and really felt like a Killswitch song, from both generations. The majority of it felt like as daylight dies with Howard but the quiet part reminded me of always with Jesse. Chad's vocals were amazing and spot on. You both did a fantastic job with this!

Need to listen to him more in new ftfd. I loved him in changes but then preferred Dylan for all the other albums. Then once Chad came back he didn’t sound anything like changes so I just never listened to the new stuff.

Nocturnal Records and Production needs to be a thing. Nik putting out so many bangers on UA-cam could easily translate to helping multiple bands big and small.
