Personally, I really like Ice Nine Kils. Their early work was a little bit too scene for me, but when the Silver Scream came out, I think they really came into their own - commercially and artistically. The whole album has a refined melodic sensibility that really makes it a cut above the rest.

Joe with a mic sticked on an arm and a head on the other hand is the most Ice Nine Kills thing this couldve had
also just nice to see him shine. With Spencer as a frontman it's sometimes hard to appreciate all the stuff he does for vocals, too. All of them kinda tbh

@@chillybeats3209 For a while there it was mainly Joe & Ricky contributing to vocals on the record, with Dan doing some vocals live. But now, both Dan & Patrick were contributing to vocals on Meat & Greet, so now we get to hear everyone in the band doing some singing.. Which is great.

I’ve known joes vocals were great already, but Holy F*** did he kill this!! It’s amazing to hear him as lead. This track hits hard
Wow the guitar work, leads, and solo's from both you and Dan were spot on for this style.
Also hearing Joe's vocals without Spencer really helps show what voice you're hearing specifically scream in the Ice Nine Kills songs now.

Yeah, INK has some insane vocal arrangements. Ricky does a lot of singing and screaming as well. And JD would do that before him.

I knew Joe was great at vocals but Im kind of freaked out he can front the band entirely on his own vocally and not miss a beat. Beyond blown away. Anyway ripping track NIk and so happy to have Dan back in the shrediverse healthy!

Dan is criminally underrated… such an excellent player 🔪🎸
This was incredible! On top of the circus riffs, dissonance, and chromaticism, Nik nailed another INK element. Chaos and resolve. The freak intro and screamy verse into a melodic chorus. The bridge (after a sick Dan solo) going quiet and suspenseful, right into a punch you in the face sick disgusting breakdown, back into the chorus. That chaos and resolve is in so many INK songs and you nailed it, dude.
Not to mention that (at least for me) INK is one of few bands that have a chorus so catchy it brings me back for more, which this song absolutely has
now that you mentioned it, i can see that in a lot of songs from them

Man ink has been one band that still gives me the same effect it had the first time i heard them which was the week the silver scream 1 came out and i listen to them daily and i always said I'd never get a band related tattoo but i got IX on my pointer finger and i don't and won't regret it. I dig everything they do from the riffs, music they put together and lyrics they write and spencers vocals that pull everything together. Truly a rad band and I've never looked forward to new music from a band so much then the iowa slipknot days and im 38 lol. Really hope they continue to crank out the goodies for years to come and its awesome that they're starting to get really noticed and land big tours. 🤘🧟♂️🗡
This was AMAZING.... Think my favourite part was the Michael Oldfield - Sentinel inspired piano bit starting at 7:17 of the video and how well that works through the rest of the song. Sentinel was one of my favourite songs EVER as a kid, and was used in the original Exorcist movie, so that was a really cool tribute to throw in there.
