Nice reaction Nina. Grace’s voice in this cover reminds me of two unreleased songs called Maybe This Could Be Something and You’ll Get Bored. It’s like I’m listening to the greats like Judy Garland or Doris Day. Yes she should release this cover and everyone she’s ever done.

Her newest material (still unreleased) is a quantum leap over her previous vocal work, which is quite a statement, but it's true.
This next year should provide you with a lot of terrific material from Grace to which you can react.
Since the first time I heard her sing "River" I thought to myself she is as evocative as Amy Winehouse or Ava Cassidy. A prodigy of vocal stylistic improvisation. She's got all the tools to be a huge success.
In her latest IG live Grace played a number of as yet unreleased songs that may be the best things she's ever written. In particular Kids, Made it Out Alive, and Maybe I Should Go. And her vocals will make your
jaw drop. You'll find them on UA-cam. Well worth a look when you have the time; she's progressed to another level.
Along with One and Only and The A Team, one my favourite Grace performances, Strange, as they’re all covers, but I still think she’s a brilliant songwriter ,!

My favorites are The River, Escape my Mind(on Corden) and Best Friend. But there's no such thing as a non great Grace performance.

Nina, love your reactions. I started out thinking oh no not this one since I've seen this sooo many times. then I hear you break it down and its like I'm hearing it for the first time. so completely grateful for your reactions.

This was a more full version of "for you" I think as she did a shorter rendition on an earlier instagram live. Great reaction and I'm thinking your sterling analyst of Grace since the beginning might be the reason some fans of other young singers have seen the light and have come over to Grace. I don't know if you've heard Grace do some Scat but it was impressive. I wonder how much she learned from listening to Billy over this time period because her slower songs the last year and a half would have been well received in any time period of music. There doesn't seem to be one of them that shouldn't be on her next album. If she keeps up this pace of creating new songs her label should consider a Double album
A lot of the songs she covers, especially early on in her career were songs from the 70s time frame. I think if you could take her back in time to the artist of Laurel Canyon, like Crosby Stills and Nash, Joni Mitchell, Jim Morrison and other up and coming artists of the time that took the old folk music and turned it up a half a beat, she would have been considered one of the best lyricist of that time. Just imagine what kind of music she would have written with that much talent around her. But even today she’s still writing some of the best lyrics around just on her own.

@@osovagabundo1 I got it. The answer to your original question, they got Ed Sheeran now. They are going through a drought right now of people like Billy, Croce and Chapin. With so many people into Rap and Hiphop the chances of another Simon and Garfunkel coming along is very small
