The fact that a 13-year-old little girl could write a song like this should be like front page news if you ask me. She may not have been the only one ever to have that ability at such a young age but you could probably count them all on one hand, including her.
This girl just takes you places you’ve never been before just the greatest female singer I’ve heard in 69 years
Just a beautiful voice and lyrics this is just one of my favourite songs of hers and there all good in my opinion

I love Grace's music and even her covers blow my mind and make me look at the songs in a new light. Her amazing voice is suited to everything from blues, rock, pop and even the old time songs like Cry Me A River.

Geez at thirteen, LOL would like a compositional comparative to the great songwriters of today at a similar age! I think they would fall considerably short..... to say the least!
Another wonderful review from an aficionado of the Grace sound. It still boggles my mind that a 13 yr old can presume to dig deep into our psyche's about aging. That kid's writing skills are beyond amazing! That plaintive voice ain't too shabby either!
Listen to all her songs or you are missing out on a wonderful vocalist and song writer. No one like her. A miracle.
Thanks Adam Straughan, great job. Lungs is a different song that presents a very high level of creativity for a composer who at the time was only 13 years old. Talented, her work has been growing progressively, in addition to this, many others came with the same quality that you can search for, her work is beautiful, she is incredible!

My all time favorite from her. Written and recorded with 13 yo. It’s unbelievable that this song didn’t get any attention the time her album was released. Imo this should have been her title song, published as single. It’s plain beautiful. Great reaction btw.
I think the reason was that it was only available on a special Target Edition of her CD

You need to listen to her ep ‘perfectly imperfect’ and her first album ‘just the beginning’ you will blown away by her mastery of song writing and beautiful voice outstanding!!

yes, i agree with you. I have sat down many times reading the words to her songs (just reading). It effects me the same way every time. If you are into reading lyrics & love awesome uniqueness, check out "Jessica Baio" originals. Some are on her mothers youtube "Barbie baio". The earliest one i know of is "My Dream" which is damn good for a "10,11 year old".
