I stare at the concrete The girders rise high The steel's above me There's love in my eye His lyrics and songs on 5foot one's album, New Values were massively influential on me in the late70s/early 80s. It was a time of real hard and fast partying and the new music was simply stunning. New Values and Devo's 2nd album DNFTF were my faves of 79.Bowie's Lodger too. Great that Iggy is still slugging it out live onstage in 2023 and a great last album Every Loser.
Yeah Daniel, a man after my own name. He used them to great effect on the Soldier and Party albums too. Great albums along with New Values just before those two. Yes, he has got his sound perfect live with the horns, ive been following his tours lately. Great comment mate.
