he played it a few times in 2003, before disbanding the trolls and move on to the stooges reunion, got it on live zottegem bootleg, but unfortunately the cd is damaged. i myself heard them play knocking em down in the city in hamburg 2003. it was a total madness the whole show, way too wild crowd.. i was 17. later same year bol d'or first to see the stooges! fine times... i snub you they playd a lot back in the day, with slightly different lineups in 1980. and has not played it after to my knowledge. the soldier/party period is way underestimated. 80 shows were great, 81 ones were just incredible. he never reached that level again. as a performer of music.. and yes, i've been waiting to see such footage for almost 20 years, listening endless times to bootlegs, and imagining them play.
It's strange.. I was sure in Florence there was still the light of the sun when Iggy started to play. i just remember his blue shirt which he took off and put on several times. To approach the stage, as requested by himself, the public had to open a passage by leveraging wooden planks through the gate that separated the playing field from the Curva Ferrovia of the Stadio Comunale now renamed Artemio Franchi.

io ero a Pesaro, credo che il video sia un montaggio di due diversi concerti, probabilmente Firenze come qualcuno asserisce ma anche Pesaro, ricordo il cameramen della rai minacciato da Iggy con l'asta del mirofono, Iggy che fa la doccia di birra al malcapitato seduto sul palco e poi...mi riconosco in un paio di frames. non so...

unquestionably i've been lacking in taste ! Thats why i love this song so much amazing to see it played live.
